We work with individuals navigating the lasting impact of complex trauma (C- PTSD) and developmental trauma, including social anxiety and relationship patterns shaped by attachment wounds and communication challenges.
My passion is working with others who grew up in abuse, neglect, or with other forms of trauma. We often see our pasts show up when workplace dynamics, social situations, and relationships trigger behaviors and patterns we wish they didn't and we may become defensive, anxious, people-pleasing, or wonder about co-dependency. If this is you, I'm here to help.

I specialized in helping adults and youth explore past trauma and shed the fear that keeps them stuck so that they can discover the best version of themselves.
The heart of counseling is a warm, safe, and non-judgmental relationship that focus on meeting life demands. I enjoy collaborating with individuals, couples, and families to meet the challenges they are experiencing and help them build the skills and confidence needed to navigate the future with resilience.

Our therapists are trained in working with complex trauma, C- PTSD/DTD, and childhood/developmental trauma.
Sharing your story can be difficult, but it can also be a powerful step towards healing. Looking inward with the help of a professional reduces shame and guilt, reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression, challenges false beliefs about ourselves and our histories, improves relationships, and creates more fulfilling lives.

Do painful memories or a difficult past keep you from moving forward? When life feels stuck because of recurring thoughts, fluctuating emotions, or distressing dreams, it can be hard to imagine a better future. I understand how overwhelming this can feel, whether you are a child, teen, or adult. Often, the events of our past can feel like they're still happening in the present. They may show up as anxiety, emotional distance, or a constant sense of being on guard. You might notice repeating old patterns, struggling with school or relationships, or finding it hard to trust others. It can leave you feeling stuck.

I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, early trauma, and complex family dynamics.
The human psyche is messy—by design. We’re wired for survival, not just serenity. Symptoms like anxiety, depression, or emotional shutdown are often the echoes of early experiences or unmet needs. My work is to help you trace those echoes back to their source—so you can reclaim your voice, relationships, and life. This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about real change: shifting how you relate to yourself and others, not just managing symptoms but transforming your inner landscape.

I serve clients experiencing complex trauma/CPTSD, dissociation, social anxiety, chronic illness, and substance abuse.
When you take a look inward, what do you see? Are you someone living with high self-standards and perfectionism? Maybe this leads to having an idealized vision of yourself or your future, yet when you cannot meet these standards you feel overwhelming shame or fear being judged. Do you often feel too disconnected from people, your surroundings, or even yourself? Sometimes your emotions feel too intense, sometimes you don’t feel anything at all, or your feelings stay stored as pain and tension in your body. Maybe you struggle to feel comfortable around others, and have been harmed or neglected by people closest to you in the past.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for trauma?

Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?

Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?

Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?

It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
