Are relationship dynamics, family tension, or the patterns you keep repeating leaving you feeling stuck and disconnected from who you truly are? Whether the struggle is personal, between partners, or felt across the whole family, it rarely exists in isolation — and neither should the solution. You don't have to untangle it alone, and you don't have to choose between getting help as an individual or getting help together. In addition to individual therapy, I specialize in couples and family therapy, helping you gain deeper insight into your patterns and become more of who you truly are.

Many women carry responsibilities, expectations, and emotional burdens that others may not fully see. You may struggle with self-doubt, feel overwhelmed by anxiety, navigate relationship challenges, or adjust to major life transitions such as marriage, divorce or motherhood. At times, you may feel emotionally drained, stuck in overthinking, or unsure about the direction you want to take in your life. You may be seeking greater clarity, confidence, and peace within yourself and your relationships. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, understand what you’re experiencing, and begin creating meaningful and lasting change.

We all have what it takes inside to make it over life's hurdles, but sometimes we need a helping hand. I am here to give you the support and skills you need to overcome the difficulties you face. I understand that looking for a therapist is a vulnerable experience. Be assured that I will see you as a person rather than a diagnosis. I believe that each person is unique. Therefore, I draw from multiple psychological approaches and tailor my approach to your personality and specific needs.

You may be carrying more than you let on — the anxiety that won’t quiet down, the relationship patterns you can’t seem to shift, the grief or trauma that feels like it lives in your body. You don’t have to navigate any of this alone. I offer a steady, attuned space where you can slow down, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to move toward the life you want. My approach is collaborative, insight‑oriented, and grounded in evidence‑based practices. Clients often tell me they appreciate the way I balance warmth with clarity — offering both a safe place to land and a space where meaningful change can take root.

As an intern therapist and pre-licensed professional, I support children, teens, adults, and families in a safe and caring space. My work is grounded in trust, belonging, and truly seeing each person for who they are. I especially hope to serve the Vietnamese community and those new to therapy, honoring cultural values and personal stories while offering tools for healing and growth. With children, I use play therapy to support expression and coping; with adults, I provide supportive conversation and practical strategies for life’s challenges.

I believe it is an honor to be able to work with clients during particularly challenging periods of their lives. I believe God has a purpose and a plan for each of us. Sometimes we need a time of reflection and evaluation of our perspectives to be able to move forward. Seeds of depression and anxiety can be hindering God’s best for our lives. The great news is that these can be overcome.

For individual, couples, adults and teens, the pursuit of ones therapeutic goals is a deeply personal endeavor, one that entails time, effort, occasional discomfort and some expense. I am keenly aware of the burden of trust, inherent in my participation in so intimate and earnest an undertaking, and will apply my clinical judgment, professional acumen, interpersonal skills and 35-years of experience, to discern and address those needs. In doing so, respect for your values, reverence for your individuality and deference to your aspirations, will guide our endeavor, enabling you to attain your goals with dignity and true contentment.

I am an anxiety and OCD specialist. I believe that people can learn to move on from their anxiety or OCD without the need for long-term treatment. I generally work with my clients for long sessions in a short period of time instead of one hour a week for many months. Most people find that within that short window they have the skills needed to understand and work with their anxiety independently.

Hoarding Therapists
What is the most effective treatment for hoarding?
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) has been well-studied in the treatment of hoarding. This type of therapy includes changing beliefs surrounding possessions, as well as learning how to discard items and reduce acquisitions. The hoarder may also gain much-needed organizational skills. Another useful therapy may be compassion-focused therapy, which can address emotion regulation and negative self-perception.

How long does therapy for hoarding take?
Although treatment can vary, most people demonstrate improvement after 23 sessions, with some showing improvement after just a few sessions. Researchers have developed a 26-session cognitive behavioral program. People who hoard may need “maintenance” sessions over the years if the problem arises repeatedly.

Are there medications for hoarding?
The more commonly-prescribed medications for hoarding are including antidepressants, including selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). This can include drugs such as venlafaxine and paroxetine. And because hoarding disorder is related to obsessive-compulsive disorder, medications for OCD, such as clomipramine, may be effective for hoarding as well.

Can hoarding come back after treatment?
Hoarding is a chronic disorder and it can last throughout an individual’s lifetime. Regularly checking in with a psychotherapist can help manage symptoms long-term. A good therapist will help the person learn needed skills including decision-making, organization, and stress reduction. The patient will gain a better perspective and the need to cling to useless items will lessen.
