There is nothing sweeter, to us, than healing trauma and breaking chains.
As trauma therapists, we take a “big T” approach to trauma, which means that we view trauma broadly with more flexible boundaries than how others may. Trauma can be in places you may not realize, so let’s uncover and unlearn. Life often feels like you've been overtaken by the tide; we teach how to wade in the water, cope with the waves, and arise refreshed.

Mental healthcare can be helpful for many reasons. Sometimes we need professional support from a preventive and early intervention stand point (life transitions, increase resilience, processing experiences) and other times we may need it for treatment (diagnosis, moderate to severe symptoms, significant distress). Either way, it is best to be proactive about our overall health and wellness.

I frequently see clients who are working through the anxieties of being a teenager, the struggles of emerging into adulthood, the issues of manhood in singleness, marriage, and parenting, and the traumas that disrupt emotional well-being.
To me therapy is an artform, unique to each client. Much of the work done is to get to the root of your issues and regulate your mind and body. This is done through emotional awareness and regulation, brain optimization, trauma work, mindfulness, and improving your relationship with yourself. I implement Neurofeedback and Brainspotting in my sessions.

I utilize CBT, DBT, trauma therapy modalities such as CPT and EMDR, and other experiential modalities such as Coherence Therapy
Grief, anxiety, and life transitions can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through them alone. I provide a safe, supportive space where healing and growth are possible. Whether it’s self defeating thoughts & behaviors, grieving a loss, adjusting to life’s transitions, or coping with anxiety and depression, I provide an atmosphere of mindful self discovery. A quote that describes my vision as a counselor is one by Maxwell Diawuoh, "This is your healing. It doesn't have to be pretty or graceful. You just have to keep going."

(Spoiler: No!) Then I found " trauma-informed somatic healing".
You’re not broken—your nervous system just learned to keep you safe in ways that no longer serve you. Boundaries feel hard because your body sees them as risky, learning early to seek approval instead of trusting yourself. Confidence isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about coming home to yourself. Healing starts with safety, action, and support.

I have extensive training in multiple trauma-focused modalities.
Are you or your child feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or stuck in difficult patterns? These symptoms may be signs of a nervous system that’s become overly reactive to stress. We specialize in helping clients find relief from anxiety, depression, attention issues, sleep struggles, and more—by working directly with the nervous system in a safe, supportive environment.

I also incorporate EMDR, somatic practices to help process trauma and stored emotional experiences at the nervous system level, not just intellectually.
Finding the right therapist matters. Therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and genuinely connected. I see our work as collaborative and honest. You know your life better than anyone, but when you’re inside your own patterns it can be hard to see them clearly. That’s where I come in. Many of the people I work with are reflective, insightful, and capable in their daily lives, yet feel stuck in familiar emotional cycles, relationship dynamics, or internal self-criticism. They’re not looking for quick fixes. They want to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful change. My approach is integrative and tailored.

I have deep training in numerous trauma/addiction/couples therapies (psychodynamic, CBT, EMDR (EMDRIA trained), addictions, Gestalt) and have learned that amazing progress can be accomplished in/through these areas.
I focus on/value your needs first. As we check-in together, connection, trust and comfort create an honest space for you to share and grow. I approach therapy as a dynamic partnership - where proven technique and deep relational connection yield cognitive, emotional and spiritual integration. Honing technique to fit client needs + personalized connectivity yields clarity and growth. Moving through the process, we target and work toward this result...together.

Perhaps, you have been in talk therapy for a while, maybe you already have a diagnosis of ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, or Substance Abuse disorder, or perhaps you are in the stage where you know something is off, and you can't pinpoint it.
Neurofeedback therapy has been here since the early and mid-1900s. Neurofeedback utilizes qEEG, attaching electrodes, measuring brain waves, and train the brain like a muscle. Our major step is connecting your brain to electros to understand your brain map better. We create a protocol based on that information.
