I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves often while appearing “okay” on the outside. Many of my clients feel lost, carry the weight of others’ expectations, or struggle to prioritize their own needs without guilt.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, warm, and relational. I offer a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, explore your emotions, and feel deeply understood. Rather than focusing on quick solutions or rigid structure, I emphasize self-compassion, emotional awareness, and building a stronger, more trusting relationship with yourself.

You’re strong and capable, used to holding everything together, but lately it feels heavier than it should. You may be exhausted from overthinking, managing conflict, or carrying all your responsibilities. Beneath it all, unresolved trauma can quietly shape how you live your life.
I’m a trauma-focused psychologist for adults who need guidance to recover. Together, we’ll gently explore how your past and your identities (e.g., race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender, etc.) have shaped you, and create a steady, thoughtful path toward relief, clarity, and a more grounded sense of self.

I help client's suffering from depression, anxiety, attention issues, addictions, emotional regulatory disorders and relational conflict learn skills such as CBT, DBT, 3 principles training, and mindfulness to help better their lives. Teaching new skills is an integral part of my practice.

I work with adults and adolescents who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety and depression, or who are adapting to life challenges. You may feel that you're missing the immediacy and vitality of your life because your energy is sinking into habits of overthinking, arguing with yourself, and struggling with your emotions. My focus is to provide quality, results oriented counseling services to individuals, families and couples.

I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or alone. I believe we have all been wounded in some fashion, and those wounds often affect how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Some are exhausted from carrying life's burdens by themselves, while others feel trapped in unhealthy patterns that continue to impact their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Together, we identify obstacles to growth, develop practical coping skills / disciplines, improve communication, and build a path toward greater emotional health, resilience, and personal well-being.

Be very careful of the narratives that shape your identity, as they can ultimately define your reality. Narratives have a powerful influence on how we interpret our experiences and guide our actions. Unfortunately, an unhelpful narrative can limit our choices, obscure alternative options, and impede personal growth, leading to a sense of insurmountable problems. Therefore, it is crucial to examine the stories we tell ourselves and reshape them to live a more liberated and meaningful life.

Provide, be a problem solver, put your needs second for the benefit of others, always be available to help, don’t show weakness, but make sure you’re a good listener... that’s what it means to be a good man right? You would think that after doing all the things you’re “supposed” to do to be a “good man” you’d feel fulfilled, loved, appreciated, and accepted...right? Or is it more true to say that you’ve been starting to feel resentful, cynical, and skeptical of the people that say care about you? You’ve learned to base your worth on how much you can provide for others, but have never actually stopped to wonder, "What do I need?"

Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.
How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.
What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
