Healthy relationships improve immune systems, nourish wellbeing, buoy us in challenge & fuel success. Yet few know how to live relationally, generating often automatic, problematic or unhelpful, thoughts & behavior. This affects personal & professional outcomes…& health! I translate the science of wellbeing, behavior change & neuroscience to: evoke awareness of patterns, raise consciousness about the past, explore limiting beliefs, help you identify a vision aligned with your needs, values & strengths. Get real with yourself in a neutral-yet-specialized space. Cultivate EQ & relationship skills. Master mindsets. Lean into purpose.

With couples, I work with pursue-withdraw cycles, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, ADHD-related challenges, parenting stress, and life transitions.
I specialize in the full arc of creating lasting change, helping adults and couples move beyond anxiety, ADHD concerns, trauma, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, low self-worth, painful relationship patterns, and communication difficulties. Many of our struggles began as strategies to help us cope, achieve, connect, belong, or stay emotionally safe. Together, we explore how earlier experiences, attachment patterns, unresolved pain, and life transitions shape your relationships, sense of self, and emotional well-being. My goal is to help you move beyond survival and into a more authentic, connected, and fulfilling life.

Are relationship dynamics, family tension, or the patterns you keep repeating leaving you feeling stuck and disconnected from who you truly are? Whether the struggle is personal, between partners, or felt across the whole family, it rarely exists in isolation — and neither should the solution. You don't have to untangle it alone, and you don't have to choose between getting help as an individual or getting help together. In addition to individual therapy, I specialize in couples and family therapy, helping you gain deeper insight into your patterns and become more of who you truly are.

As people, we all continue to grow and learn throughout our lifetime. Counseling is just that, growing and learning more about yourself and how you relate to others and the world. If you don't know who you are, I would love to explore that with you. I am a strong believer in equality and in affirming who you are; your values and beliefs. I believe in celebrating and honoring our differences. Everyone struggles from time to time and my passion is to walk along side you and offer you the support you need.

Healthy parent/child relationships reflect secure attachment, responsive attunement, and mutual enjoyment.
The language of children is play; so play is an integral part of child therapy sessions. Puppets, sand, toys, & games all provide the child with the opportunity to show what they are experiencing and how they are making meaning of their world. I also know sign language and would be happy to consult to see if my skill level meets your needs.

Parenting Therapists
What does therapy for parenting look like?
Therapists may work with parents individually, together, or include the whole family to find solutions for the problems a parent faces. Many parent-based therapies work on a parent’s relationship with their children, problem-solving within the family, and analysis of family dynamics. Therapy conducted remotely by video may be helpful in allowing a therapist to observe how families interact in their own homes.

When should a parent seek therapy?
When behavioral problems begin to disrupt the healthy functioning of a family, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If parents find that children are acting out in school, have started using drugs or alcohol, have developed eating disorders, or other similar red flags, a therapist may be able to help.

How long does therapy take for parenting problems?
Depending on the severity of a family’s challenges and the type of treatment utilized, therapy for parenting can last from weeks to months. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a pragmatic therapy type that can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. Structural family therapy, which inspects family dynamics, often takes several months. Parent-child interaction therapy is typically shorter-term, lasting between 10 and 20 sessions. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

Can therapy help parents dealing with burnout or stress?
Parenting is difficult. Parents may dismiss or conceal feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, or escape ideation—imagining withdrawing from their parental obligations altogether. but left unattended, these feelings can have negative effects on the whole family. A therapist can help parents work on the skills they might need to better cope with the burdens of parenting and help them be the best parents they can be.
