I specialize in helping women heal from trauma, pregnancy-related stress, postpartum depression, anxiety, and identity loss in motherhood.
You’ve been holding it together for everyone else—but inside, you're falling apart. You feel like you're drowning in overwhelm, exhaustion, and guilt. You’re constantly on edge, your mind won't stop racing, and even sleep feels impossible. From the outside, it looks like you’ve got it all under control—but no one sees the silent struggle you're carrying, especially as a mom. You feel disconnected from yourself, your relationships, and the life you hoped motherhood would bring. You're stuck in survival mode and running out of options—but you're not out of hope.

Have you been struggling during pregnancy or postpartum?
I use tools like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you gain clarity, build emotional resilience, and realign with what truly matters to you. I’ve faced birthing trauma, perinatal anxiety, and the unseen load that comes with trying to hold it all together.

Do you feel like you’re holding everything together while quietly coming apart inside? Maybe you’re the one others depend on—the “strong one”—but underneath, the pressure is building. For teens, this might look like feeling overwhelmed by school, friendships, family expectations, or not knowing how to make sense of intense emotions. For adults, it can feel like carrying endless responsibilities, burnout, or losing connection with yourself while showing up for everyone else.

Are you facing a change in life? Struggling with transitioning into a new phase of life, challenges that are creating anxiety, communication that seems to get you no where, or losing interest in things that seemed fun before. Life may have seemed harmonious however, now it seems more difficult and stressful. Working through challenges on your own can also feel exhausting and give little hope.

You may be the person everyone else depends on, the one who appears capable, successful, and put together on the outside. Yet internally, you find yourself battling anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, or feeling like you're never quite enough. Perhaps you're navigating a major life transition, struggling in relationships, or noticing that old wounds continue to show up in your present life. I am especially passionate about working with teens, young adults, and women who are exploring how attachment wounds and past experiences influence their current relationships, emotional well-being, and sense of self.

Sometimes life throws us curve balls and with those hiccups in life come struggles in which we all need help. I believe that it is in those moments when turning to others is key to helping one heal and move forward with their lives. I see strength in seeking counseling for oneself, because that takes courage on your part to step outside of your box and seek help. Establishing a therapeutic relationship that leads to the development of trust is important for growth and healing of a client. It takes courage to take that first step towards counseling, I hope to be able to walk this step with you.

Hola! I'm a bilingual therapist who works with tweens, teens and adults. Sometimes we go through periods in our lives where life feels unfair, and we get stuck in that downward spiral just waiting for the next thing to go wrong. These stressful periods in our lives cause changes in our mood and behavior. This may look like not being able to focus or complete tasks, becoming easily irritable or angry, feeling overwhelmed, worrying about even worse things happening. Do you want to gain control back of your life and be able to enjoy yourself? Or even just become a better version of yourself?

Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum Therapists
What are the most effective ways to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns?
The most effective way to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns is by finding a therapist who has prior experience helping other patients overcome the challenge being faced. For example, a marriage and family therapist may have experience helping couples adjust to their new relationship dynamic. An anxiety specialist may have experience helping with phobias or illness anxiety related to the child’s health. A depression specialist may have experience treating postpartum depression.

When should I seek treatment for prenatal or postpartum concerns?
Pregnancy and the postpartum period involve intense physical and mental changes; a degree of upset and instability is normal. However, if these changes impair daily functioning, it may be time to seek help. This distinction is pertinent for postpartum depression: A period of teariness, irritability, and distress is difficult but normal in the one to two weeks after childbirth (sometimes called the “baby blues.”) But if feelings of sadness and hopelessness persist beyond that period, the person should seek treatment.

How do I manage worries during pregnancy or the postnatal period?
A therapist can help patients develop the tools they need to manage anxieties during or after pregnancy. Cognitive behavioral therapy can help people identify and reframe harmful patterns of thought, and change their behaviors. Other techniques and skills can allow people to develop acceptance, psychological flexibility, self-compassion, communication skills, and more.

Are there specific medications for postpartum depression?
In 2019, the FDA approved the first medication designed to treat postpartum depression. The medication is called brexanolone and is delivered intravenously by a medical professional over the course of a few days. However, typical antidepressants, which are more accessible, can also treat postpartum depression. The disorder is often best treated through a combination of medication and therapy.
