Inside, you’re burned out, anxious, or haunted by trauma.
My style is straightforward. No sugarcoating, no empty clichés. I use evidence-based trauma treatments like EMDR, CPT, DBT, CBT, and somatic strategies. Sessions are focused and practical — you’ll leave with tools you can use in real life, not just talk. I’ll show up as myself: direct, compassionate, sometimes with dark humor, always honest.

I specialize in anxiety, OCD and depressive disorders, and bring a trauma-informed perspective to each session.
I believe that our most basic human need is to feel connected to others and to ourselves, and I will use evidence-based practices to help you improve these connections. I understand that fear, anxiety, pain, and grief can all block our paths towards connection and healing, and I realize how broken relationships can turn into life-long regret and hurt. My goal is to individualize each treatment plan to your personal needs and areas of growth by emphasizing strengths, unlearning negative beliefs, overcoming fears, and inspiring you to create new paths towards healing. I am fully trained in EMDR and ERP to better meet your needs.

” Many young adults feel lost in patterns shaped by emotional neglect, people-pleasing, or past trauma.
What if you didn’t have to keep abandoning yourself to be loved? What if your inner voice was kind instead of critical—calm, grounded, and hopeful? You can learn to feel safe in your own skin, to show up in relationships without fear, and to ask for what you need without guilt. I promise you, its not a pipe dream. It's possible.

I offer a trauma-informed, empathetic space for working together through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma.
We all get stuck sometimes and need help untangling our thoughts and emotions. There’s a part of you that desperately wants change, and another part that is terrified. You’re exhausted listening to the chorus of “shoulds” and “should nots” that are calling the shots about what a good life might look like. There are some painful things that happened to you that are hard to talk about - you know they still affect you but you’re not even sure where to begin to process through them. I believe that you, as you are today, are worthy of every joy and happiness. You deserve to be safe to mess up, change your mind, and try again.

I work with teens, adults, and families, especially folks navigating trauma, identity, boundaries, and messy relationships.
Let’s be real: life’s chaotic, but sometimes your inner world’s louder. That voice in your head won’t quit. You overthink, replay convos, feel guilty saying no, and call it “anxiety,” even though you know it’s more than that. You’re tired of performing, peacekeeping, and holding it all together. You just want to feel like you again. That’s where I come in, therapy that helps you slow down, feel safe being real, and start coming home to yourself.

And if there's a part of you that gets terrified at the thought of that, that's welcome too <3 I will help create safety for you to explore the deep places of hurt, fear, confusion, and trauma.
The clients I work with are already a bit introspective and often wish to work in the mental health profession themselves. They are ready to do the work of processing, even if they are unsure what that will actually entail. My hope is to help you build a pathway to your internal world and find love and compassion there.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for trauma?

Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?

Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?

Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?

It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
