My approach to counseling closely mirrors my view of life: there is no one-size-fits-all answer. I use a multifaceted approach to counseling, pulling from the core theoretical approaches of CBT, Person-Centered, and DBT. I believe that as humans, we were created for connection with others. We all experience unexpected circumstances that make life challenging, and attempting to balance life's challenges on our own can be confusing and frustrating. I focus on helping my clients discover their self-worth and core values in order to help them build a life they are proud of.

Are you a First Gen Latina that is feeling lost in your relationships? Do you feel overwhelmed with self-doubt and constantly overanalyzing? You've come a long way but something is keeping you from being happy. While you are trying to meet everyone else’s needs and expectations, you are failing to nurture the relationship with yourself. This leaves you feeling frustrated and unhappy in life. Despite the unease you feel, a large part of you is ready to set down the thoughts and beliefs that are keeping you down and start building your peace and happiness.

You might know exactly what your patterns are and still feel stuck in them. You overthink. You question yourself. You tell yourself you’ll do things differently, but somehow end up in the same situations, especially in relationships. On the outside, it can look like you have it together. Internally, it feels exhausting. This is the work I specialize in. I help women understand the deeper patterns behind anxiety, self-doubt, and relationship dynamics so change actually lasts, not just temporarily. I’m currently accepting a limited number of virtual clients in Texas. You can reach out to get started or schedule a free consultation.

I am passionate about working with pregnant and parenting moms who are juggling the constant demands of parenting while trying to hold space for their own needs and identities. Motherhood can be deeply fulfilling, but also incredibly exhausting. Many moms find themselves feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or disconnected from the version of themselves they once knew, and what I've discovered as a therapist working with parents and families (and as a mom of 2 myself) that a mom taking care of her mental health is not selfish... it's giving her child the best gift—a healthy mom and a more rewarding parent-child relationship!

I graduated from Walden University, where I received a Master’s in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I use an existential approach to obstacles in life, but believe therapy should be shaped and molded to the needs of my clients. I help individuals who have experienced disturbing life events find their inner peace by providing techniques and tools to overcome their trauma to live rewarding lives. I also help women and those within the LGBTQ+ community who struggle with their self-esteem find their voice through a non-judgmental environment to help empower them to reach their full and maximum potential.

You deserve to feel connected and safe in your closest relationships. It is lonely, painful, and frustrating when those relationships aren't going as you'd like. You may be confused about how to help a child who is struggling. You might wonder if you're making the right choices for your child and you may even worry that you're a bad parent. Or, maybe you feel disconnected from a partner. You long to feel close to the person you care about, but years of hurt and bottled up emotion make it difficult to know where to start.

You might be anxious, dreading each day, stuck, and angry carrying pain and trauma and really wanting to find a way to be free of memories, shame, and panic attacks so you can live your best life. You might question how others seem to get life “right” because their social media posts don't look anything like how you feel. Relationships are suffering, and you don't want to pass these feelings on to those you love. You want to be free, confident, happy, and at peace with who you are as a person and the future that is yours yet to live.

Life can present difficulties. Whether those difficulties have presented themselves throughout life or they are unexpected, we were never meant to go through them alone. Anxious feelings and thoughts can force us to feel stuck and halt the growth that we desire. Working through memories and fears to continue our life growth can create and improve the life we were meant to live.

You’re the one who holds it together. You get things done, show up for others, and from the outside, you seem fine. But inside, your mind won’t shut off. You replay conversations, stay on edge, overthinking makes it hard to fall asleep, and it never really feels restful. Maybe you’ve been through things you don’t talk about, or you’ve pushed through for so long that your body doesn’t know how to slow down anymore. Anxiety, trauma, or chronic stress can show up as overthinking, emotional disconnection, or nights where your brain just won’t let you rest.

You are a woman juggling many roles while trying not to lose yourself in the process. You may be navigating motherhood, aging, injury, career demands, or changing seasons of life while still wanting to stay active and strong. You feel pressure to perform, guilt for prioritizing yourself, and frustration when comparison or burnout takes over. You want support that understands the realities women face, including the mental and emotional weight that comes with caring for others while trying to care for yourself.

Something has shifted, and you can't quite name it. You're doing everything right — the treatments, the appointments, the showing up and yet you feel more alone than ever. Whether you're deep in fertility treatment, navigating a complicated pregnancy, or lost somewhere in early parenthood, your emotional experience deserves as much attention as everything else. I work with women and couples — including same-sex female couples building their families — who are ready to stop surviving and start feeling like themselves again. Together, we'll process the grief, deal with shame, and help you reconnect with yourself and your relationship.

Therapy is a journey; some seasons will require more work with a lot to unpack and some seasons will be steady. My goal is to cultivate a sense of lifelong wellness, to inspire growth and empower change that helps each individual reach their personal goals. I truly value working with each individual and believe everyone deserves an opportunity to refocus, realign or rebuild despite the struggles they are facing in their lives.

It is an honor to witness the healing process as it unfolds within individuals who enter psychotherapy. Each of us has the potential to live our best life and heal from past traumas or disappointments. When we care for ourselves, we are able to have much deeper and more meaningful relationships with others. I work with people who have chronic mental illness and/or have experienced trauma and need support in stressful situations. I also help people who want to get to know themselves better or have a deeper understanding of self. I often refer to the unconscious and attachment relationships to help people gain insight.
