I have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy to work with veterans with PTSD and substance abuse.
I specialize in working with clients that have co-occurring disorders such as depression and substance abuse. I have found that many people will start self-medicating for depression and anxieties with alcohol and street drugs only to find themselves in an addiction they never wanted. I also specialize in Post-traumatic Stress Disorders. I will primarily provide services through Telemedicine portals to help protect the confidentiality of my clients who do not wish to be seen walking into or out of a mental health office.

I employ many modes of therapy; however, a few I really like to use include ACT, CBT, Rogerian, and Motivational Interviewing.
“You shall know Your truth, and it shall set you free.” Let’s discover your deepest truths together and renew your heart and mind to help you live more abundantly. I truly believe that everyone can improve themselves, find healing, and live a more fulfilling life with the right tools, honesty and openness, the willingness to make necessary changes, and a non-judgmental, compassionate environment. I work hard to create this for my clients. I have a Master's degree in Religious studies, so I can incorporate spirituality into sessions if you would like, but this is 100% optional. I have connected with clients both of all bends. :-)

I use cognitive behavioral, Gottman method, and creativity in my counseling
Are you struggling in your marriage/relationship? Does this sound familiar? Hi, my husband and I do not seem to be happy anymore. Over the years we have both made some bad mistakes and have hurt each other. Now, we hardly talk and when we do it becomes an argument, we say a lot of hurtful things to each other. In our last argument, things got really out of hand, and he left the house, slamming the door, and hasn't been back home since. I have been crying since last night. We love each other, but, after our last fight I just don’t know what to do or where to go from here. I really need some help.
