I work with all ages, adults, adolescents and children, in individual, couples or family counseling. Adolescents are of special interest to me.

I have extensive experience with counseling diverse populations in the areas of trauma, anxiety, impulsivity, dissociative, and depressive symptomology. I can assist with stress management, relational problems, and navigating life adjustments. I have completed the STAR Three Tier Training for Counseling Veterans. I am looking forward to working with military and first responders to assist with trauma processing and adjustments.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with nine years of clinical experience, regularly working with individuals of all ages, addressing concerns such as ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, and Self Esteem. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a Person-Centered approach, and a combination of many other modalities to provide tailored counseling to each person I work with during therapy. I believe in working closely with each client to foster a relationship that encourages greater self-acceptance, leading to growth and change in their lives.

I have enthusiastically worked with individuals experiencing a variety of life struggles and mental health challenges such as domestic violence, grief and loss, addiction, depression, and anxiety throughout my career. I also have experience working with couples struggling with communication difficulties, infidelity, and emotional distance. Early on I chose to focus on trauma when I noticed both the prevalence of traumatic experiences in the lives of my clients, and the profound effects of untreated trauma. I am certified in EMDR to promote healing and and help clients build lives full of authenticity, purpose, and meaning.

Many of my clients tried finding help in treatment centers and in the offices of outpatient therapists but they didn't get the results they were looking for in their lives. As someone who struggled with an eating disorder personally, I understand the necessary components it takes to be successful in overcoming obstacles related to addictions, eating disorders, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, and many other obstacles which prevent you from being happy.
