My desire is to facilitate hope and healing to each of my clients as they navigate through life's challenges. I base my work on a strong Biblical foundation and work with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, My areas of expertise are the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, PTSD, stress, major life transitions, trauma, family systems, relationships and conflict resolution. Brandi primarily utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is a values driven approach when working with clients. ACT teaches mindfulness skills to help individuals embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting them. Brandi is currently working on her PMH-C certificate from Postpartum Support International on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. This training allows her to have a better understanding of the symptoms and differential diagnosis of prenatal and postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorders and psychosis.
Greetings! My name is Javana Moss, but I refer to myself as Ms. J! As a Mental Health Therapist I am passionate about helping you reach your individual goals. I take into consideration your individual needs and identify treatment approaches that are best suited for you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. The University of Texas at Arlington is where I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work. Being in the helping profession is what I wanted to do since I was a child. My professional experience began in 2016, as a therapist/case manager/discharge planner at a mental health hospital. Working with people in crisis was difficult, but it gave me an opportunity to learn how to handle crisis situations such as people who were suicidal/homicidal, severe depression and anxiety, struggling with psychosis, substance abuse and detoxing, and victims/perpetrators of abuse.
Supervised by Dr. Bernis Riley, PsyD, LPC S. Are you experiencing the symptoms of anxiety or depression? Are you struggling with a past trauma? No one wants to experience pain and suffering, yet we can learn and grow from those experiences. In our broken world, you may be like so many people who feel broken and hopeless, who struggle to find their purpose in life. The good news is that there is hope and there is a Savior who died for you and loves you. Whatever issues you are struggling with, God's word assures us, and my own experiences have confirmed, that we can learn and grow and reach the full potential God has for us.
Thank you for taking the time to get help. It takes so much courage to reach out. Do you feel lonely or overwhelmed with your past? Are you struggling to get through the day? Therapy may be right for you.
Each person is unique so why shouldn't their treatment be also? Welcome, you have taken the first step in your journey to a better you. My approach to therapy is nonjudgmental, empathetic and focused on your treatment. By tailoring your needs in session I can help you learn coping skills and strategies to help you become a better version of yourself.
