Based on my 25 years of experience, I usually recommend a holistic and objective assessment of the problems as part of the solution. These assessments include understanding, first and foremost, the needs of the individual. These can include anxiety, depression, ADHD, peer issues, family problems, stress, and many other things. I treasure the insight the individuals bring to the conversation with their questions, concerns, observations, and overall experiences. I bring these understandings to my therapy sessions and welcome those involved with the individual to lead the individual towards a more passionate, kind, fulfilling life.

Why do people go to therapy? Most often, it is because we are in a crisis of some kind. Although we all find crises painful, they are also opportunities for growth. In fact growth does not occur without discomfort, maybe even pain. Without that challenge, we will not grow. But we must also have support. That’s where therapy comes in. Through support and challenge, something new emerges. We don’t just get through. We grow. We come out the other side greater than we were.

I deeply believe in the human capacity for growth in the face of incredible adversity. Pain is oftentimes inevitable, but suffering is optional. Michelle Wright is a Psychologist in Texas who has been practicing since 2014. Michelle offers comprehensive and compassionate psychological services for individuals across the lifespan. Having worked with a wide variety of clients from diverse backgrounds, Michelle prides herself with being able to meet her clients where they are at in life and work with them to find a path to meet their individual goals. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys playing music, cooking, and being active with her child. On any given weekend you'll find her exploring a creek and making up songs on her ukulele.

Charlotte is an experienced trauma therapist specializing in the treatment of children and families with special needs who have suffered trauma, children in foster care, and adoptive families. Charlotte has developed trauma-informed clinical programs for treatment centers and non-profit organizations across the country. Building trust and rapport with children and their families is the first step to effective treatment. Charlotte uses an integrated family approach to include the entire family in the treatment process.

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents, teens and adults in homes, schools, outpatient clinics, churches, nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers and county jails.
