My passion is joining and working alongside clients to support them in facing some of the most challenging experiences they have encountered in life, trauma.
Due to the nature of this work, clients need to be motivated for growth and healing. My therapeutic approach is compassionate and challenging while focusing on four concepts; perceptions, thought processes, emotions and behaviors. These four concepts affect so much in life, and making healthy adjustments to these in the wake of devastation is possible.

I have worked in diverse settings and aided clients to adjust to life changes; like grief, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, relationships issues, adjustment, anger management, and other life span issues.
I believe people are more than their issues and problems. Finding a therapist that fits can be a daunting task if you have problems with adjustment, grief, anxiety, depression, chronic illnesses, identity issues, and/or relationship issues. I'm a bilingual therapist that uses a strength-based approach to help the client reach their goals. I use an interpersonal and client-centered approach in a culturally sensitive framework and use humor when possible to help clients achieve goals.

There are times where life can feel overwhelming, or uncertain.
My approach is to facilitate a space that invites authenticity and discovery through person centered and solution focused approaches. I use theory's such as CBT, SFBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy, to help meet you where you are, assist in discovering your values, discovering maladaptive patterns and create helpful actions.

I believe in the individual's intrinsic potential for healing, and see life challenges as possibilities to grow.
I work collaboratively with my clients creating a warm, safe and authentic relationship where I accompany them through their painful experiences and emotions, so that together we can find the way for them to heal, grow and become the person they want to be.
