Life Coaching Therapists in Round Rock, TX
As both a clinical psychologist and a Certified Martha Beck life coach, I am well suited for treating both mental health issues (such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD) and helping people reach goals that have felt unattainable.
I consider myself a compassionate motivator, both accepting of where you are and encouraging growth. I can recognize and appreciate the smallest increments of change and help people make positive changes in "unfixable" situations. Instead of feeling stuck, you begin to feel capable and hopeful about the future.

Therapy isn’t about fixing you, but about gently uncovering the life that is already seeking expression.
I integrate relational, existential, and somatic approaches to trauma healing, shame reduction, and authentic living. My work is informed by NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), Relational-Cultural Therapy, attachment theory, and somatic psychotherapy principles.

You crave balance and joy in your career and your family. You worry about whether you are "doing it right," this balancing act of motherhood, relationships, and career growth. Expectations of yourself and others sometimes create unbearable stress and pressure.

Whether you're working through current challenges or looking to break old patterns, with compassion and collaboration, we’ll work together to help you “re-wire” unhelpful habits, find solutions and navigate whatever life throws your way.
Do you show the world that on the outside you've "got it all together" but privately feel burned out or lost? Perhaps, more than anything, you want healing, insight, and change—because you somehow believe (or hope) that something better is possible. But can you really change? It IS possible, particularly if your therapist is using the concept of neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity means that the wiring in our brain is always wiring and rewiring itself. The good news is that we can wire it to believe what we want it to believe and can therefore change the behaviors we want to change.

I believe the client is the expert of their life and we can work together from a solution-focused mindset after building a strong therapeutic relationship.
Distress often stems from the patterns we develop in relationship—with ourselves and others. Because we’re wired for connection, we tend to repeat familiar dynamics, even when they’re unfulfilling. I help clients identify and shift these patterns to move out of cycles of disconnection, conflict, or self-abandonment. With over a decade of somatic training, I bring a deep understanding of the mind-body connection—how stress, fear, and unprocessed emotions are held in the body and influence how we relate to ourselves and others. I combine traditional talk therapy with nervous system regulation tools.

More than that, though, we work to help you become who you want to be and find a sense of purpose in your life.
There is a big difference between sobriety and recovery. Most therapy focuses on sobriety and behavior change. For some, this is all that is needed and we can help you make that last. However, for many, it is not that simple. We help you find not only lasting change but more importantly we help you find who you are and a purpose in life. That is recovery.

Life Coaching Therapists
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.
Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.
Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.
How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
