I have experience working with women, couples, men, and adolescents. I am passionate about helping people work through general life concerns as well identifying coping skills among other therapeutic strategies that can be beneficial for people to overcome life's many challenging situations. Life can be unpredictable and overpowering causing one to feel overwhelmed, discouraged, and hopeless at times.

Whether people come because they are depressed or overwhelmed with anxiety, their marriage is in trouble or they want to strengthen a strong relationship, my goal is the same: we manage immediate challenges while developing a plan to confront the deeper issues that prevent them from leading a balanced life.

Each person is unique and so is what they come in with. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. In fact, I pull from different treatment protocols to find what best fits you. This isn't a place where I tell you what to do or give advice, but a place where I join in with you in your process and we collaborate together to meet your needs. My goal is for therapy to be as efficient as possible, working through what we need to each session and maximizing a felt connection by undoing aloneness.

I work with individuals, couples, and families in helping them achieve control over "emotional hijacking" and poor decision making. Feelings like fear, sorrow, anger, rejection prevent people from experiencing connectedness with life and with others. Therefore, the ideal client is one who is struggling with relationship problems, anger, addictions (sexual or chemical), poor stress control, depression, or anxiety-I provide a safe environment where the individual's pain and/or struggle is met with understanding alongside a plan of action to address the issue(s).

It has been an honor to serve the Lord and to fulfill His calling on my life as a biblical counselor over the past several years. I am equipped to work with adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. My areas of specialty include anxiety, OCD, depression, assertiveness, communication, identity, grief, codependency, abandonment and attachment issues, parenting, marital and premarital counseling. I am a certified PrepareEnrich facilitator, which is a program approved by Twogether In Texas and waives the marriage license fee for engaged couples.
