I enjoy helping children, teens, and adults navigate anxiety, family conflict, and anger management.
I want my clients to succeed and progress in the areas that feel important to them, and consider it a privilege to support others as they work through some of their most vulnerable experiences. I work to empower people in areas they feel can contribute to change, while also building skills to support them in navigating the areas of life that feel most challenging or disruptive.

My role as your therapist begins with creating a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your journey so far. You'll guide me through your choices, why you made them and where, what and who you want to be next, and together we'll find ways to get from where you are now to where you want to be. You can be an individual, a couple, parent/child, polyamorous group or any family shape you can think of!

I see kids, teens, and adults who are bright, thoughtful, and exhausted from trying to hold it all together, hoping testing might bring answers. Maybe no one has truly seen them. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, burnout, or some religious trauma, and maybe they wonder if ADHD or autism explains lifelong patterns. They need clarity, validation, and practical next steps: and zero judgment. Their goal is to understand their brain, reduce shame, and function with more ease. They want answers so they can stop blaming themselves and start living confidently and authentically. I'm a trained neuropsychologist and here to help.

I work with adults who are ready to understand what’s been weighing on them and start moving forward in a more intentional way. Many of the people I meet with have a history of early life experiences or trauma that continue to show up in their relationships, stress levels, or sense of self, even years later. As a licensed counselor I bring several years of experience with a strong focus on trauma informed care. I take the time to understand your story at a deeper level, not just what’s happening now, but how past experiences may still be shaping the present. Together, we work toward building clarity, stability, and a greater sense

My ideal client is someone who feels like they’ve been carrying an emotional weight for too long—someone who is high-functioning on the outside but internally struggling with anxiety, unresolved trauma, relationship difficulties, or a deep sense of disconnection from themselves or others. They may be experiencing a major life transition, feeling overwhelmed by expectations, or questioning their identity and purpose. They come to therapy seeking relief, but what they truly want is clarity and connection.

From the outside, you have it all together, but on the inside you feel disconnected. A gap between the life you’re living and the person you want to be. This disconnection is often a way our mind and body protect us, but overtime it leaves us feeling stuck or empty, in a cycle of doing rather than being. Whether we are navigating relationship concerns or echoes from the past, my focus is meeting you where you are. I work with individuals and couples to peel back these layers, rebuild trust, and safety within yourself and others.

Anger Management Therapists
How long does therapy take for anger management?
Treatment duration depends on the person’s specific challenges and circumstances. There are treatments for anger problems that are shorter and more goal-oriented, like Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which can last weeks to months. Others, like Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) may last between six months and a year, while a more intensive treatment, like psychodynamic therapy, is open-ended, and clients may see their therapist for a year or longer.

How do you know if you need therapy for anger management?
Everyone gets mad from time to time. But when angry outbursts become frequent and cause damage to relationships, whether at home or in the office, it may be a good time to look into therapy. A therapist can assess where a client’s anger may be coming from, suggest strategies for averting angry outbursts, and help a client create a plan to become a calmer version of themselves.

Is there medication for anger management?
Medications do exist that help people mitigate the feeling of anger, but these are reserved for people with anger-related psychiatric disorders, such as intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or in some cases borderline personality disorder. In these cases, antidepressant medications may be prescribed to help with the client’s symptoms. In most cases of anger management, however, talk therapy is the recommended treatment, along with lifestyle changes where relevant.

What’s the best way to encourage someone to seek help for anger issues?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either themselves or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
