Together we will work to create a safe space for you and/or your loved ones to create support and establish skills needed to bring stability and balance back into your life. As I have journeyed through various phases of life, I can recall when I was an adolescent and how difficult it was to adjust to many changes in life internally/externally. As many people have gone through this phase of life and beyond, you and I both realized that there are many junctures later in life that present challenges as well. Have you experienced difficulty with managing and expressing your emotions, have you had challenges with relationships in the workplace, with your friends, family or a companion. Have you recognized that you have experienced anxiety, depression fear and confusion about the past or the future?
Are there constant demands placed on you at your job, school, or home? It can be difficult to manage all of them. Finding the time to focus on you to gain relief from life's challenges is tough.
I believe that a trusting relationship between a therapist and client is essential towards one's progress. The therapeutic relationship can offer an empathic and collaborative way to explore change within yourself and your environment.
I can help with problem solving, identifying strengths and weaknesses, learning better ways to communicate with others, learning coping skills, and also provide you with social support.
Are you struggling in your marriage or intimate relationship? Perhaps you are facing infidelity or a betrayal of trust and wondering how you can overcome it. You are feeling hurt, angry, confused or frustrated and are wondering how to work it out and save your relationship. Maybe you feel trapped and are wondering how it got this bad? Do you want to learn ways to communicate where you feel hear and understood by your partner. Let me help you reconnect with your partner and have a happier life.
Are you tired of having to constantly say you’re okay when you’re not? Some days you might feel like life is passing you by without having any control over what is happening. Helping you feel less stuck and guide you in taking steps towards a more meaningful life is the goal. Anxiety, depression, trauma and other emotional concerns can bring about feelings that can feel overwhelming. With the right support and tools that therapy offers, the life that you imagine and wish for can start to feel within your grasp again.
My ideal clients are women who are high performing in their careers, but struggle with managing anxiety and depression in their personal lives. Most of my clients also want their faith in God included as part of the counseling journey. Transitions can be difficult from time to time and I work with you to decide what's next AND what's best for you. Whether it's next steps in your career, family or relationship, I am honored to walk with you as a part of your journey to change. You ultimately decide what's best for your life and the counseling process supports you finding your voice and power to do so.
