I'm taking new Telehealth clients. My ideal client is someone who may be having difficulties with personal relationships, depression, anxiety, stresses of life, or workplace issues. Counseling is about helping people find hope for life's difficulties and ways to cope with struggles. My clients may need to restore relationships, and find new meaning in their life and work. I provide Christian, spiritual, and secular counseling with the aim of helping clients draw on the strength of their faith to better cope when they are feeling out of control.

My name is Ginka, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas. I have been in service to the community for the past four years working with families, couples, and adolescents. My areas of specialization include adolescents/teens, relationship issues, parenting, family conflict, and anger management. Some of the modalities I employ are collaborative practices, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. I use evidence-based modalities to create a safe and encouraging environment, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. Using a collaboratively developed treatment plan, I have a special interest in working with children (ages 6+), adolescents, and family units to build on strengths and overcome challenges.
