I am committed to helping people move through the trauma that has been, or continues to be in their lives. I believe that a genuine empathetic attitude from me to my clients is the most important thing I can do as a therapist. I use several modalities in my therapeutic approach. I work with adults, adolescents, and children with a wide range of problems such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am EMDR trained and I believe that this is an extremely successful way to relieve some of the symptoms associated with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and disturbances associated with trauma.

My clients have often been diagnosed with, or suspect a diagnosis, of ADHD and/or Autism in their child, teen, or young adult. Often they come to me seeking an alternative or supplement to medication prescribed by their physician.

My goal is to help those who have suffered from consequences of substance abuse get back to the business of living. This includes helping those who have ongoing substance abuse problems find the tools to stay clean, as well those who have momentary lapses of judgment that have caused problems at work, school or home. As an SAP, my goal is to help employees through the return to duty process as smoothly and expediently as possible.
