My past experience involves working in Anxiety/
OCD
and Trauma/Grief specialty clinics for children/adolescents, which has helped me hone specific skills in these areas.
Searching for compassionate support in the hardest moments of our lives is not easy at all. It is often difficult to find relief and navigate step by step the healing process alone, and I am humbled by the immense vulnerability and strength required to reach out for support. I believe in a warm, compassionate approach that helps individuals honor their innate nature and strengths, building a peaceful, meaningful life when healing from difficult experiences. Hearing and honoring individual's stories alongside them, and offering evidence-based tools and support to the best of my ability, is what I have chosen to do in life.

Children and adults have many stressors and concerns in their lives that may be difficult to talk about or share with close friends and family. Many having the fear of being judged hesitate sharing their true fears and anxieties and small children may not even have the words to properly describe what they are feeling. I provide a safe environment where people can come and talk about (through talk therapy, activity therapy, or play therapy) their experiences in their day to day lives and how it effects them. I further assist parents to build on their parenting skills and open the lines of communication.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Therapists
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings, ideas, sensations (obsessions), or behaviors that make them feel driven to do something (compulsions). It affects children, kids, teens and adults. Often the person carries out the behaviors to get rid of the obsessive thoughts, but this only provides temporary relief. Not performing the obsessive rituals can cause great anxiety. A person's level of OCD can be anywhere from mild to severe, but if severe and left untreated, it can destroy a person's capacity to function at work, at school or even to lead a comfortable existence in the home.
