As a biracial Black clinician, I predominately help Christian women of color to heal from family wounds and social trauma, by creating a safe space that allows you to be your genuine self, while feeling heard and validated. As a young adult in my early twenties, I met with my first counselor who introduced me to a group counseling experience that brought life-changing spiritual and emotional transformation. Although I had come to counseling for one problem in my life, the therapeutic process illuminated so much more than what I could articulate or even knew I needed. This initial encounter is what drew me toward the counseling profession and deepened my passion and motivation for helping others in the same way that I have been helped.

My experience involves working with individuals with ADHD, anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, work-life balance, adjusting to life challenges including loss of independence, and assisting clients with creating boundaries to live a more balanced and healthier life.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience in the mental health field. I received my Theology degree from Florida Theological Seminary and my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University. The combination of a Theological and Therapeutic approach allows me to reach my clients from a Holistic approach. It is this unique training that I incorporate in my counseling to assist one in achieving full homeostasis by focusing on the body, mind, and soul. I incorporate a Solution Focused/CBT approach.
