Hello, I’m Tamara! I was born and raised in South Texas. I have always been drawn to the complexities of relationships and how they shape us so ultimately found myself in a healing profession after “trying out” several other educational paths including math and music. None quite fit until I enrolled in the Master of Counseling program. It’s been a ride! I graduated from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi (Summa Cum Laude, 2009) with a Master of Science Degree in Counseling, emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy.

Our mission is to help anyone struggling with emotional distress. We work with children, adolescents, families, individuals, and couples. We offer a FREE 15-minute phone consult to anyone who is new to the counseling process. This is a no pressure call. We will assess your current needs and concerns and decide if we can work together to address them. Our counselors believe in the counseling process and want you to have the best counseling experience possible. We offer emergency sessions, intensive counseling, assessments, play therapy, pre- marital /couples, and bilingual counseling.

I recognize professionals and high achievers deal with the stressors of success without truly understanding the impact it has on their mental health. I am passionate about helping people understand the importance of addressing all aspects of success, positive and negative, as a tool for handling those difficult times - which are more often than not the reason people are distracted and fail to meet their goals. In my work with couples, I work alongside them to place the marriage as the priority. The efforts are to remove barriers causing a disruption of peace.

If hopelessness, loneliness, fear, anger, and despair are a part of your regular experience, there is help. Trauma and narcissistic abuse survivors often feel isolated and it is my heart to offer support to those individuals who are walking through healing and towards wholeness. Many people live their daily lives carrying these heavy burdens all alone. Sometimes marriage problems or recovery issues seem overwhelming, but you do NOT have to accept that as normal living. I am Trey Lackey, a marriage and family counselor, with over 30 years of experience helping persons with individual, marriage , family, and parenting issues. I understand that life can be tough: everyday stress, frustrations, worries, and even relationships that aren't working, no matter how hard you try. None of us should go through the tough stuff alone. Who needs counseling? Why do people generally seek counseling? Counseling should not be a last resort. Erin is a passionate marriage , family, and individual counselor committed to the development and healing of her clients. Her experience is in helping those dealing with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and trauma, among other mental health concerns. She has aided couples, families, children, and teenagers through difficult life transitions and situations.

My name is “Guy.” It is my recollection that my grandmother wanted to name me after Guy Lombardo who was a Canadian American Bandleader and violinist of Italian descent. The name Guy has a French origin meaning “to guide.” As a licensed professional counselor supervisor, licensed chemical dependency counselor, and holding a degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, life has afforded me the opportunity to be a guide to others. However, before I could be a guide to others I have had to navigate through my own emotional terrain. -
