I am an advocate for the healing power of counseling. I can offer guidance and support to the individuals and couples that are willing to start that journey. Life is about facing adversity and coming out stronger on the other side. No one should have to face the world alone. I can offer my clients a safe and understanding environment where they are free to work through the issues that keep them from living the life that gives them meaning. I work with my clients to develop the best treatment goals for meeting their needs. I meet each client where they are and walk with them through their healing journey.
My goal is to partner with you in discovering your own, unique, ability to heal. I believe that hope, wholeness, and peace are all possible, but that sometimes we need assistance in finding them. Coping with the reality of our story can be difficult when it is not as we originally wished it to be. Together we can make meaning of your story and find the strength that lies within it. My approach to therapy is to assist you in doing the difficult work of uncovering your true, fully-alive self, amidst this present pain.

Are you having problems in your most important relationships? Are you feeling down, tired, and unmotivated? Do seemingly small things send you over the edge? Are you struggling with communicating your feelings? Has it been difficult for you to adjust to a major life change, such as being a college student or new parent? Are you struggling to come to terms with an infertility diagnosis? Are you finding yourself coping through obsessions with food, weight, and your body image? Do you want to find a way out?
Life can feel overwhelming and suffocating at times. You may have found yourself in a relationship where you cannot communicate effectively and the connection you once had is no longer there. The relationship you envisioned for yourself seems so out of reach. Maybe you are struggling with feeling anxious or depressed and don’t know if it will ever get better. You are struggling with managing your thoughts and feelings and wish you could take back some control. This is not the life or relationship that you envisioned for yourself.

I also enjoy working with college students and couples in premarital and marriage counseling. I genuinely believe that hope can be found in even the most difficult of situations.
My primary focus is in working with young children - (RPT - registered play therapist). I also offer adult individual, pre marriage (SYMBIS certified), marriage, couples, and family counseling. I believe that every human being was created to thrive and fulfill specific purposes throughout his or her lifetime. These can be achieved through developing natural strengths and influencing others as a result of a growth mindset.
