The Family Center for Therapy and Assessment (TFCTA) is a private practice owned by Dr. Gaston Rougeaux-Burnes (Dr. R.B.). Dr. R.B. is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with families, couples, and children, from all over West Texas. Dr. R.B. offers a variety of therapeutic services including individual therapy, couples therapy, and psychological assessment.

Men and women are different, and guys have very specific counseling needs. A lot of men cringe at the thought of counseling, and understandably so. My goal is to show the guy who hates the idea of counseling how helpful it can be and that masculinity isn't inherently negative. Being a man is a good thing and being a good man is even better. My name is D’Shawn Yeager, I am an LPC and LCDC. I am pleased to offer psychotherapy in Texas, specifically in person in Lubbock regions and virtually elsewhere. I work primarily with adolescents and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also collaborate with clients who have disordered eating patterns or struggle with body image. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Because of this pairing of DBT and EMDR I am in a unique position to help individuals with PTSD, addictions, and traumas - big or small.
