I am a licensed professional counselor with twenty-two years of clinical experience. I've worked with adults, families, children, teenagers, and populations from 0-17 years of age. My area of specialties includes Adolescents/Teens, Anxiety, Anger Management, Women's Issues, and Depression. My theoretical approaches are Christian Counseling , Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Trauma Focused, Client-Centered Therapy, and Coaching. I believe in providing a safe and stable environment for my clients to feel calm and at ease during each session to help them identify their inner potential, heal, and work through their traumas.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist specialized to work with couples struggling with intercultural differences. You might feel like there is a disconnect between you and your partner which has led you to feel distant from each other. Maybe you disagree on how to raise the children, or what traditions and routines should look like in your family. These differences may also show up in your relationship with extended family. You are tired of discussing these topics and always ending in an argument with your partner. You want to feel closer to your partner, but you feel stuck and do not know how to make things better.

I am a faith-based counselor, which means that I invite clients to integrate their faith into the counseling process. I help clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, couples issues, relationship issues, pre-marital counseling, and life-span issues.

I believe that counseling is first and foremost a relationship. As any good relationship is based on trust, so effective counseling is also based on trust. Trust develops when people feel accepted and supported no matter what their circumstances, and when they know the other has their best interests at heart. Honest communication is essential to the therapeutic relationship. For clients this means not withholding information that is difficult to discuss. For the counselor, this means giving honest feedback.
