My goal is to partner with you in discovering your own, unique, ability to heal. I believe that hope, wholeness, and peace are all possible, but that sometimes we need assistance in finding them. Coping with the reality of our story can be difficult when it is not as we originally wished it to be. Together we can make meaning of your story and find the strength that lies within it. My approach to therapy is to assist you in doing the difficult work of uncovering your true, fully-alive self, amidst this present pain.

Goals in counseling include relief from struggles/symptoms, but also learning ways to process, manage and heal from the struggles/symptoms one deals with.

I also love working with people who have had trauma and are in need of help to deal with it. I am trained in EMDR and often use it to help clients get some relief from the trauma they have experienced.

I am a trauma counselor, and I work with people to bring them to a better place, to cope and deal with their lives in a more positive and intentional way. I also work with persons who have personality disorder, and bipolar depression, ADHD or ADD, grief, and couples counseling. I think that making goals of better managing one's personal problems and treating and managing one's mental health is extremely important to live a healthier life and be happy again!
