At times in life, we all can feel lost, disconnected, or overwhelmed by challenges that once felt manageable. You may find yourself struggling with emotions, patterns, or questions that leave you feeling confused or unsure of how to move forward. When this happens, having the support of an attuned and compassionate therapist can make a profound difference. Healing often begins within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship—one where you feel seen, respected, and understood. In this kind of space, it becomes possible to explore old wounds, develop new ways of understanding, and gradually rebuild trust in yourself.

For children and adults alike, life can feel especially isolating and even scary. If this sounds familiar, I may be a good fit for you. Much of my practice is working with neurodivergent people, parents and siblings of those with neurodivergence and associated disorders. I am also a parent of three, one of whom is an neurodivergent young adult. I get it! From our first meeting, I hope you will see there is hope in managing the feelings and obstacles that come with the challenges you each face. Please take a look at my web page.

As a Licensed Sex Therapist, I get asked all kinds of questions! Is it weird that my libido is different from my partner's? I am curious about variety but I love and want to stay committed to my partner, is there an answer? I've detached myself from ever feeling vulnerable again; is love, intimacy, or committment right for me? How can sex bring my partner and I closer when what I really want is to be seen and heard? I like weird stuff, how do I share this? Hi! I'm Savannah, and I have nearly 20 years experience in sex and relationships. I look forward to exploring with you!

I teach couples the behaviors & skills required for healthy relationships, AND simultaneously use "insight oriented" therapy (such an Internal Family Systems) to help each client understand their own barriers to change.
I specialize in couples therapy, as I strongly believe that relationships are a core way we learn about ourselves; both the parts of us we like; as well as the parts we don't. When we're triggered by our partner, it's always an opportunity to learn about what still needs healing in ourselves. As we navigate life's stages, ALL of us will change...but in relationships, these changes don't always stay in sync, and that can feel stressful. Couples therapy is a way to recalibrate things; to upgrade our communication skills, rebuild our trust, grow our intimacy; and to create understanding and acceptance of our newfound differences.

I'm trained in EMDR, IFS, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Do you find yourself stuck in a cycle of intrusive thoughts, overthinking every decision, or constantly anticipating the worst? Maybe you can't seem to quiet your mind, your anxiety is affecting your relationships, or past experiences continue to influence how you trust, connect with others, or see yourself. You may look like you're holding everything together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or trapped in patterns you can't seem to break. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone—and you don't have to continue living this way.

My work is informed by IMAGO relationship therapy, Internal Family Systems, and trauma-informed relational work.
Many couples don’t struggle because they don’t care. They struggle because the same conversations keep happening. One pushes harder. The other shuts down. Both leave feeling alone. I specialize in couples therapy and relationship patterns. I work best with couples motivated for real change and willing to look at their own part. Many come in feeling stuck in repeating conflict, emotionally disconnected, or unsure how to repair trust.

We are all part of interconnected systems, like families, workplaces, and schools. These systems shape us, for better and for worse. They also send us powerful messages about who we’re “supposed” to be. Sometimes this causes us to get stuck in a story of who we are that we didn't author and don't know how to change. Therapy gives us space to critically examine the narratives that have come to shape our lives, and the ability to reauthor them moving forward. Understanding how we learned to behave gives us more power to decide how we behave now.

My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems ( IFS), and person-centered care, with solution-focused tools as needed.
You don’t have to love every moment of motherhood to be a good mom — and you don’t have to navigate anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or life transitions alone. I primarily work with women and mothers, including those navigating pregnancy and postpartum, who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of who they’re becoming in this season of life. Many of my clients are caring, capable people who are used to holding everything together while quietly struggling inside.

I primarily use Internal Family Systems ( IFS Level 1 Trained) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support clients in healing past wounds, gaining insight, and building a greater sense of internal harmony and peace.
I believe healing is not about fixing what is broken, but reconnecting with what is already whole. If you are ready to better understand how your past is impacting your present and how to invite a greater sense of compassion, courage, and curiosity into your life, I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

I also use IFS and attachment theory, building toward deeper processing at your pace before we dive in.
You have not felt like yourself and you are not sure who you are becoming on the other side of this. Maybe you are grieving a person, a pregnancy, a plan, a dream, or a version of your life you had planned. Maybe your birth experience left you feeling disconnected from your baby in ways that are hard to admit. Maybe infertility has quietly taken over everything and you are carrying a question you are afraid to say out loud. Or you are standing at the edge of a major life transition with no idea who you are anymore. You deserve a therapist who has navigated her own life shifting and shows up ready to help you find your footing.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
