Accepting new clients in Texas both in-person and virtually.
You don’t have to love every moment of motherhood to be a good mom — and you don’t have to navigate anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or life transitions alone. I primarily work with women and mothers, including those navigating pregnancy and postpartum, who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of who they’re becoming in this season of life. Many of my clients are caring, capable people who are used to holding everything together while quietly struggling inside.

I'm available In-person and virtual Tuesdays from 9am-7pm & Thursdays from 9am-3pm; virtual (only) on Wednesdays & Fridays from 9am-5pm.
Turn your never-ending pattern of defeat with your partner into an ever-growing source of enrichment. You may feel unwanted, unvalued, rejected or unsafe in a relationship that used to be marked by love and intimacy. Despite your best efforts, every interaction ends in a damaging fight or excruciating loneliness. These are predictable experiences to problems that have a highly effective solution.

I offer therapy sessions online and in person.
Hi there and welcome! If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, depressed, or unsure about what’s next, you’re not alone—and there’s nothing “wrong” with you for feeling this way. A lot of people I work with are navigating big transitions, relationship stress, loneliness, anxiety, burnout, or that quiet sense of pressure to have life figured out by now. It can be exhausting to carry all of that on your own. I hope to be there to support you so you can share your burdens in a space full of grace, respect, and compassion.

As a therapist, I see myself as a guide someone who walks alongside you as you deepen self-understanding, build self-acceptance, and reconnect with the strengths you already have. My goal is to help you create a more balanced, meaningful, and joyful life. I believe many of our inner resources are already within us; therapy simply offers the space to uncover them. In a safe and supportive environment, we slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. As you gain awareness of the factors influencing your challenges, you can make intentional changes, align with your values, and move forward with greater clarity.

My ideal client would be where you find yourself trying to hold it together, and you may not look for help until a situation has gotten worse and its almost a crisis. That situation will significantly affect your life, and you will hit a breaking point. This might be self-esteem, anxiety, depression, adjusting to life changes, codependency, grief, health issues, or just feeling stuck. It's hard to ask for help but here you are, and what you thought might work is not working any more. You would find yourself in my office feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, confused but feeling like you had taken the first step to finding HOPE.

Do you ask yourself “I’m smart, why is this so difficult?” Or find yourself repeating patterns where you think, “I should know better?” Maybe you were identified as Gifted as a child (or your teen is gifted) and wonder why they call it "gifted" when things are hard? Do you feel you lost your giftedness when you entered high school and gifted "support" became AP classes? Then maybe you could use a guide to help you uncover and understand those things you feel you “should know” or be able to do but might not have ever been taught. Bringing yourself in line with who you want to be is one of the things therapy can do for you.

In-Person availability!
I use a variety of treatment methods but all of them focus on being in the moment, identifying your personal strengths and qualities, and building upon the coping skills you already have to build your confidence to learn and use new skills. I am fairly direct, a bit sarcastic, and bring humor to sessions.

I offer both online and in person sessions.
I work with individuals from adolescence through adulthood, supporting clients across life stages. I firmly believe that no one struggles or acts out without reason—our behaviors and symptoms often stem from deeper experiences, unmet needs, or unresolved pain. My goal is to understand those underlying connections and help facilitate healing and resilience. I use a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each person's needs, goals, and stage of life. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or behavioral challenges, I strive to create a safe space where meaningful change can happen.

You set the goals, and we will get there together.

From the outside, it looks like you’ve got it all together — the career, the partner, the family. “Anyone in my situation,” you may tell yourself, “would be thrilled with this life.” But that doesn’t change the fact that you’re simply not happy. Even with all your successes, something is still missing. And the truth is that sometimes you feel so desperate. You keep it to yourself because you don’t want to seem ungrateful, but secretly, it gnaws at you. Restless nights. Constant worry. Perpetual pain in your neck and shoulders. Fantasies of escape. It feels overwhelming.

Seeing clients through a mix of in-person and online appointments.
My work is grounded in a simple belief: human beings make sense. Even the behaviors we struggle with most—anxiety, people-pleasing, shutdown, perfectionism, anger, compulsive caretaking, difficulty with intimacy—usually began as intelligent adaptations to difficult circumstances. Rather than asking, “What’s wrong with you?” I’m more interested in understanding what your nervous system learned, why it learned it, and whether those strategies are still serving you now. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed, attachment-based lens that integrates EMDR, developmental psychology, sex therapy, neuroscience, and mindfulness.

I became a therapist through a deep love of stories, especially those centered on resilience, connection, and personal transformation. I work with teenagers and adults facing depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorder recovery, and family dysfunction, and I enjoy supporting college students as they navigate stress, identity development, and career decisions. It’s a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move through healing and growth. My approach is collaborative and flexible, grounded in strong rapport and attuned to what each person needs in the moment.

On the outside, perhaps you seem fine but inside you're disconnected, guarded, and always on edge. You hold things together, anticipate needs, and stay composed no matter what. You have old wounds, feel estranged from your loved ones, were the “mini-parent”, family problem-solver, or the secret keeper. You want real connection, safety, and solid ground, but old patterns of over functioning for someone else (or everyone else!), numbness, or shutdown intrude. Maybe you are scared of having a family of your own because yours let you down. The skills that got you through at difficult past no longer work. Deep inside you want more.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
