We are a group therapy practice who works with adolescents, young adults, as well as adult populations. We provide individual, group, and family therapy. We work with clients to help them achieve a greater sense of awareness so that they may identify patterns and behaviors that interfere with living the life they want. We work with clients who tend to struggle with negative self-talk, which can manifest for some as disordered eating or a lack of self-compassion. We work with clients to understand and improve these parts of themselves. We also strive to instill a sense of hope, as we think this an important part of the process.

When working with children and adolescents, I use a blend of play, art, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and skills to support emotional growth, self-awareness, and lasting change.
Sometimes life gets messy—and that’s okay.
If you're going through a challenging season or life transition, talking with a therapist can be one of the healthiest choices you make for yourself and those around you. While support from friends and family is important, gaining perspective from a neutral, experienced professional can help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
In addition to working with adults, I bring over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families. I help clients address behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, peer relationships, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.

Through guided imagery, experiential approaches, and expressive therapies like art, music, and writing, we’ll tap into new ways of understanding yourself.
I believe the Beatles had it right when they said, “All you need is love.” Life doesn’t always go according to plan—unexpected challenges can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from ourselves and others. In those moments, it’s not just what we go through that hurts—it’s often the feeling of not being seen, heard, or understood. At our core, we all need validation, compassion, and a safe place to process what we’re experiencing.

I like to incorporate bibliotherapy, art and self-compassion elements into therapy.
Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal choice, and it’s important to remember that there is no "one size fits all" approach to healing. For our work to be truly effective, you deserve a space where you feel safe, genuinely seen, and deeply heard. This foundation of trust is where our real work begins.
I’m here to honor your unique process, recognizing that while the path to insight is incredibly rewarding, it can also feel vulnerable. If you are navigating the weight of anxiety, we will work together to quiet the noise and help you find your footing again.

Art Therapy
How does art therapy work?
The process of making art allows people to express themselves. Art-making can take many forms, such as painting, collage, or sculpting. The therapist asks questions that the work elicits, such as how the person felt while creating their piece, or if any memories surfaced that they can discuss. The therapist will then work with the patient to process their experience, understand themselves better, and work toward change.
Does art therapy help with trauma?
Art therapy can be a valuable treatment option for those suffering from trauma. Traumatic experiences such as combat, rape, or childhood abuse can be so painful that articulating them can be too scary or painful; creating art allows people to express themselves without words, and tell their story in a different way. The physical nature of creating art can also help people feel rooted in the body, which may benefit those who feel disconnected from their body in the aftermath of trauma.
How long does art therapy last?
The duration of art therapy varies, but a common length for treatment is 10 to 15 weekly sessions. Some people may see improvement in just a few weeks, while others may choose to remain in therapy longer term. Patients should periodically discuss their goals with their therapist to make sure the two are aligned on process and progress.
What are the limitations of art therapy?
Art therapy is helpful for many people, but a limitation is that it doesn’t have as robust an evidence base as other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy. The evidence on art therapy is mixed; some research demonstrates its benefits, while other research suggests that it has little impact on patients.
