One of the greatest challenges of life is finding peace within yourself, when one is challenged by depression, anxiety, abuse or trauma that peace can sometimes feel unattainable. This is why finding the "Right" therapist can be a task in itself. As for myself, I believe that "Normal" only exist on a washing machine & finding the "Right" therapist can be just as important as finding the perfect time to pursue that peace.

The question shouldn’t be, “Who is the cheapest SAP I can find?” It should be, “Will I be able to find a job or keep my job after the SAP program?” That’s where everyone’s head should be & we know, because we’ve been doing this a long time. As experts in the field, we’ve learned all the things that keep people from employment after SAP. We address every issue with a unique process no one else has: we give your initial SAP report after evaluation, tailor documents to highlight your strengths and values, communicate directly with employers, and provide reports immediately so you can get back to work fast.

Pain can lead to the most profound feelings of isolation and hopelessness. I have experience working with individuals, families, and couples, helping people during the most vulnerable times in their lives and have seen first hand how unresolved and damaged relationships have negatively impacted people and caused pain. One of people's biggest regrets at end-of-life are the relationships they have neglected. One of my greatest passions is working with individuals and families to address hurts and impasses: being both witness and participant.

You are not here by accident. What feels like anxiety, trauma, or inner conflict is often the result of patterns pulling you out of alignment with your own path. You are not broken. These patterns were once adaptive, but now they interfere with your movement forward. Through EMDR and integrative therapy, we reduce their charge, loosen old emotional structures, and help your nervous system release what it has carried for too long. This work is not about forcing change. It is about removing interference so clarity can return, and life can begin to move with greater ease, direction, and intention. So you can follow your path with ease.

How do you care for yourself? How do you deal with adversity especially when your struggling? All of us have a tendency to latch on to reasons of why we do what we do, but sometimes these reasons aren’t always true and can actually cause us and those we love more suffering. I look forward to working with you on any issue, in a safe confidential space. I have a collaborative style that focuses on the goals of healthy processing, empowerment, and self-sufficiency.

Do you feel disconnected from your spouse-- perpetually trying "reach" him or her, but angry, sad or frustrated at your inability to connect? Or perhaps you find yourself distancing from your marriage partner, avoiding conflict in order to feel safe, only to find yourself "walking on eggshells." You feel the pain of disconnection with the person you love, and you feel stuck; maybe it even feels hopeless at times. If only you could re-discover the bond that somehow still exists beneath the rubble of fighting, avoiding and blaming. Or, possibly your struggles are more individual than relational?

Men's Issues Therapists
Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.
How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.
What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
