During these 4 to 6 weeks, we will see both of you Together & Individually, as well as Help each of you Learn the Art of Empathy, Sensitivity & Compassion. These Workshops are Informative & Powerful, in order to Accelerate the Healing Process & Stop any further Damage from Occurring. In Addition, Our Success RATE is 85% of Our Couples that have Successfully Completed Our Couples Workshops or Alcohol Treatment.

AFTERNOON & EVENING HOURS AVAILABLE* I help those struggling with mental health and relational concerns. Types of mental health challenges: trauma, abuse, addictions, anxiety, depression, grieving, anger management, compulsive behaviors, and adjustment pressures. Relational counseling addressing communication, conflict, problem-solving, divorce, separation, and reconciliation. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, and Brief Therapy approaches to help those hurting. For my Christian brothers and sisters, I use a Christ-centered approach with Biblically integrated principles.

I will help you learn strategies to replace hurtful or self-defeating thoughts, feelings, and actions with healthy, adaptive, alternatives. Such counseling is a highly individualized process focusing on specific areas of concern that you and I will identify together.

I believe in creating an environment which serves as a ‘soft place to land’ for my clients. When children are challenged, the entire family is challenged. By creating a positive environment where children feel accepted, valued, and safe, they are able to make sense of their world by expressing themselves in a way that feels natural to them. Children do not always have words to communicate their struggles and can become overwhelmed by big emotions. As a Registered Play Therapist, I strive to give voice to these challenges and support caregivers in navigating the sometimes difficult and very important job of parenting.

I do not have an ideal client as each person is their own. I have worked with kids and individuals who have had troubles with transitions in life, behavioral issues, anger, anxiety, self-care and depression. I also enjoy working with couples and families and come from a family systems style. I look at the couples and families' roles and see what is working and what is not.
