) to work on the things that are causing you to not feel like your authentic self or feel stuck…things like
relationship
issues, toxic connections, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and so much more.
When life gets overwhelming, who do you talk to? Really, truly talk to? Is there a space where you can speak freely about your anxieties, life stressors, and your innermost thoughts and feelings? A place where you can celebrate big moments while also processing letdowns? A place where you can share anything without fear of judgment? If the answer to any of these questions is “no,” then I would love to talk with you about counseling. There is something enormously freeing about having a person and a place to share the things that tie up your mind and tangle your heart.

I have experience working with individuals,
couples
, and families in their journeys towards health and wholeness.
No matter who we are, our relationships influence and mold our experience of life. We all have a desire to create and maintain deep connections to our families,
spouse
, children, and friends that help sustain us during our challenges and storms and lift us higher during the joys and peaks. For most of us, though, that process is difficult and not without pitfalls. As a marriage and family therapist, I keep in mind the importance of relationships and how they affect and shape all of us. This knowledge allows me to walk alongside and guide my clients in their journeys towards wholeness of self and wholeness of their relationships.

relationship
better and grief counseling for those who are suffering through a loss in their lives.

It's never too late to develop and implement your own dreams. Counseling can help determine the source of difficulties you're experiencing. NOW OFFERING TELEHEALTH ONLY!!!

I believe that regardless of where you've been, what you've done, or where you are now, you inherently have value and worth. My mission is to help you see your inherent worth, and to journey along a path in which we can discover the authentic you. My speciality is young adults who are survivors of trauma including, but not limited to, childhood abuse and neglect and sexual abuse. Ultimately, I believe the

Couples Counseling Therapists
Does couples counseling work?
Research shows that couples counseling is effective; it can reduce relationship distress and improve emotional awareness, communication, empathy, intimacy, and overall relationship satisfaction. For example, emotionally focused therapy was found to be effective for about 75 percent of couples, and those benefits lasted at least two years.
When should a couple seek counseling?
Couples can benefit from counseling if they consistently struggle in their relationship. They may have lost the ability to communicate effectively, become entrenched in harmful patterns, begun to fight more than usual, broken the other’s trust, suffered from a mental or physical illness, or faced any number of other challenges. Many therapists offer free consultations, so if a couple isn’t sure whether therapy is necessary, asking directly can provide clarity.
How can I get my partner to go to couples therapy?
The decision to seek couples therapy is often driven by one partner, who then convinces the other to participate. When discussing the idea, the initiator should be direct and assertive. They can state the problems they see and explain how the relationship would benefit from therapy. In more serious cases, they can also explain how their relationship may suffer without making any changes or seeking professional help.
How does a couple prepare for couples counseling?
The anticipation of beginning couples counseling can be difficult—sometimes more difficult than the first session itself. Taking a few moments to reflect can allay those concerns: What are the current challenges? When and how did they begin? What do they want the relationship to look like in the future? Reflecting on these questions can help individuals or couples articulate their goals. Of course, the therapist will also ask questions and guide couples through the process.
