If you’re feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in painful relationship patterns, you don’t have to keep carrying it alone. Life can feel overwhelming when trauma, relationship stress, or emotional wounds begin affecting how you see yourself and connect with others. Many of the women and couples I work with feel anxious, emotionally drained, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward—especially after experiencing betrayal, emotional abuse, chronic conflict, or long-standing patterns of people-pleasing. I offer a safe place to heal, rebuild, and regain your sense of self...

Have you come to realize your life is nowhere near where you thought it would be at this time of your life? Do you feel like a stranger in your own house? Do you want peace and a sense of self again? I can help you find both.

My name's Jessica and I work with neurodivergent women, especially moms, who in many ways, don't want to end up like their own mothers. They don't want to live life with anger, resentment, loneliness, martyrdom, or low self worth. They don't want to move from connection to connection without ever really feeling like they belong. Many of my clients come to therapy carrying things no one should ever have to carry alone. They need help understanding their feelings, overcoming the negative self talk loop, reconnecting with their body, and finding joy and compassion for themselves and others despite their own curated chaos.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, (1943), "The Theory of Human Motivation", reads: if a person’s basic needs (food, shelter, physical/mental safety) and social needs (love, belonging, self-worth, sense of purpose) are not fulfilled, that person will experience frustration and will “pivot” on a level of need that appears easiest to satisfy. Which level of need are you "stuck" on? Are you bound by anxious, fearful and mind-binding thoughts? Freedom is a goal that can be attained.

Whether you are a teen struggling with adjusting to a new school or changing peer relationships, a college student facing a ticking clock demanding you choose a major, a young professional dealing with navigating the change from youth to adulting, or even an individual dealing with divorce or relationship concerns, I can help. All of these "normal" life changes can be accompanied by feelings of worry, stress, and anxiety that hinder our ability to progress as we need. Therapy is a wonderful means of working through the "noise" caused by anxiety, worry, and stress and dealing with the root of the issues you are facing.

Are relationship dynamics, family tension, or the patterns you keep repeating leaving you feeling stuck and disconnected from who you truly are? Whether the struggle is personal, between partners, or felt across the whole family, it rarely exists in isolation — and neither should the solution. You don't have to untangle it alone, and you don't have to choose between getting help as an individual or getting help together. In addition to individual therapy, I specialize in couples and family therapy, helping you gain deeper insight into your patterns and become more of who you truly are.

Are you carrying the weight of trauma, grief, or a mental health diagnosis that has made it hard to feel stable, safe, or like yourself? Whether you're an adult navigating PTSD and emotional upheaval or a parent watching your child struggle with behavioral challenges, the path to clarity can feel impossibly far away. You don't have to find your way there alone — and with the right support, it is closer than you think.

Healing begins in the safety of a genuine relationship, one where you feel seen, heard, and understood. You already hold the wisdom and strength to create the life you want. My role is to walk beside you as a guide and partner, helping you uncover the clarity and confidence that already lives within you. Together, we’ll explore the stories and pressures that no longer serve you and begin to rebuild a life that feels authentic, empowered, and deeply connected. Working with couples and families will focus on the needs of the system. Sessions are designed to identify patterns and move toward deeper understanding of each other.

Hello and welcome! I’m originally from New Mexico, where I quickly recognized the growing need for mental health providers. After living in Texas for over 8 years, I’m proud to call this beautiful state home and look forward to supporting the community here. I love this state, its people, and culture. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology, with a minor in history, and continued my journey at Texas Tech University, where I completed my master’s in Couples, Marriage, and Family Therapy (CMFT) as well as my PhD in the same discipline.

You look like you’re holding it together but inside, you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted. You may be used to pushing through, showing up for everyone else, and carrying your struggles quietly. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, past trauma, or major life transitions. At some point, coping stops working, and you find yourself wanting more than just “getting by.” You want relief. You want clarity. You want to feel like yourself again. Therapy can be the place where you finally stop pretending everything is okay and start making sense of what you’re

Life can be a struggle for anyone and everyone at any given time. Sometimes, we can manage those struggles on our own and other times we need a little help. That's ok! I am here to help in those times of need. I believe that anyone can make positive change in their life if they want to, but sometimes the idea of going it alone is very overwhelming. I work with adults and adolescents alike on issues with depression, anxiety, and interpersonal issues. My goal is to help you be more comfortable in your own skin. After all, today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is you-er than YOU (Dr. Seuss).

Women's Issues Therapists
How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.

How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
