I do offer private pray which is $90 per hr for individual and $100 per hr for families/ couples.
Got faith? Most of us struggle with the obstacles and challenges and we are in search of solutions. These struggles can be within yourself or within your relationships with those closest to you. The solutions that we try do not always work because we are looking in the wrong places. With faith in God, we can find the answers together.

Many of the women and couples I work with struggle with the effects of betrayal, emotional abuse, chronic conflict, people-pleasing, or past experiences that continue to impact their present lives.

Kandis Snowden is a Licensed Professional Counselor. lt's challenging to go into a fancy office and speak with a stranger in a world with so much stigma regarding help for our mental health. My heart desires to make you feel safe and welcome. I offer a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, like sitting on the porch. By caring, we allow growth, healing, and change to occur—a place to sit on a porch where anything can be said and not held against you. If you want to understand the past or want to discuss the future; there is nothing that good ol’ porch therapy cannot do.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, (1943), "The Theory of Human Motivation", reads: if a person’s basic needs (food, shelter, physical/mental safety) and social needs (love, belonging, self-worth, sense of purpose) are not fulfilled, that person will experience frustration and will “pivot” on a level of need that appears easiest to satisfy. Which level of need are you "stuck" on? Are you bound by anxious, fearful and mind-binding thoughts? Freedom is a goal that can be attained.

Have you always felt something was “off,” even when life looked fine on the outside? Maybe you’ve seemed to have it together (capable, responsible, high-functioning) until suddenly you feel overwhelmed, on edge, or exhausted by trying to keep up. Perhaps you’ve fallen down a social-media rabbit hole and started noticing how much neurodivergent content resonates with you.
Getting clarity around what’s actually going on can be an incredibly empowering first step. Understanding your anxiety, trauma history, ADHD, or possible autism isn’t about labeling you, it’s about reducing overwhelm and building a life that truly fits you.

Marriage Counseling Therapists
How does marriage counseling work?
Marriage counseling works by teaching couples concrete skills to communicate with one another and solve disagreements in healthy ways. A trained mental health professional works with both members of a couple to explore difficulties the couple may be having and helps them develop skills to address these matters. Couples who don’t have any difficulties but want to prepare for marriage may develop skills for the future.
How long does marriage counseling typically last?
Marriage counseling is a short-term form of therapy; the process may last between four and eight sessions. Other forms of relationship guidance from mental health professionals, such as couples therapy, are longer lasting, may focus on the past rather than just the present, and are tailored to the individual couple and their emotions, history, and patterns in the relationship. Couples therapy often lasts for 12 weeks or longer.
Is marriage counseling effective?
Marriage counseling helps many couples develop relationship skills that may not have been acquired or tested in a relationship; partners may be better able to communicate and address conflict following counseling. However, there are many different forms of marriage counseling, and this form of counseling does not have as strong an evidence base as other modalities such as couples therapy.
Is marriage counseling effective if only one partner wants to go?
Yes, marriage counseling can still be effective if one partner convinces the other to engage in the process. Of course, whether counseling is effective depends on the couple’s commitment to work on their relationship; however, the short-term, skills-based nature of marriage counseling makes it a relatively easy “ask” of a partner, and the hesitant individual may see its value once counseling begins.
