I ascribe to a humanistic and psychodynamic approach and philosophy of counseling with some cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) mixed in. I focus on client’s emotions, perspectives, and life experiences, rather than just treating symptoms. I believe each client is different, what works for one will not work for all. Therefore, I take a dynamically informed approach when creating a treatment plan that will work best for each individual. I work with clients ages 12 and up.

I believe that we all experience trauma at some point in our lives whether we recognize it or not. Unaddressed and unprocessed trauma affects all aspects of our lives - school, work, parenting and relationships. Initially, my goal is to help individuals understand and identify trauma and how it impacts everyday living. As the therapeutic process continues, I will aid in creating new healthy pathways of thinking as well as how to react and respond to triggers that result from past traumatic events.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate I have dedicated my career to helping people navigate the curve-balls life has thrown at them. The current COVID pandemic has created a whole new normal for people to navigate. My counseling practice is directed by the Person-Centered approach, Cognitive Behavior Theory (CBT), and EMDR; I use other theories as needed, like trauma-focused CBT, DBT, Narrative, and alternative therapies. I provide a non-judgemental safe space for my clients to heal.

We use a variety of techniques that are tailored to meet the needs of our clients with a special interest in self esteem/self worth issues, codependency, NPD & unconscious programming. Some individuals are unaware of limiting thoughts, beliefs & memories and stay stuck. Trapped trauma and unconscious programming plays a major role in mental & physical health problems as well as interpersonal relationships. In addition to psychotherapy we offer a unique & transformational experience called Zerobody Dry Flotation to aid and accelerate the healing process and to re program unconscious programming (one's blueprint of self and life).
