I specialize in working with couples in all stages of their relationship, including helping partners heal from emotional wounds, such as infidelity.
Not all therapy is the same. Maybe you have been to therapy before, and while the therapist was well meaning you didn’t quite feel understood and seen. At times, you may have felt dismissed- even it’s slightly—as though something essential about your experience was being overlooked. Not the facts of your life, but the deeper emotional reality underneath them. The part of you carrying old hurts, difficult emotions, conflicting feelings, or questions about who you are and what you need. You can feel these experiences shaping your life, even if they're hard to put into words. And you want to get the heart of it- to heal and feel good.

At the heart of my work is a deep belief that every person and every couple deserves to feel connected, valued, and understood. Many of the couples who come to me share a common story: they still care deeply for one another, yet the spark has dimmed. Conversations feel surface-level, physical intimacy has faded, and the closeness they once relied on feels out of reach. I see this not as the end of a relationship, but as an invitation—a chance to slow down, rediscover each other, and begin again with honesty and intention.

Whether you're facing the aftermath of betrayal, recurring conflict, or simply a painful distance that has grown between you, know that change is possible.
I practice EFT, a gold standard, research-based approach proven to transform relationships. EFT doesn't just offer surface-level skills. Instead, it gets to the root of disconnection by uncovering the emotional patterns that keep you stuck. Together, we create new ways of relating that foster security, intimacy, and trust.

I am Daheem Din, a Marriage and Family Therapist practicing since 2006, offering my services to clients across different countries. My role involves aiding individuals, couples, and families in establishing meaningful relationships with themselves and those around them. Many couples reach out after months or sometimes years of feeling off track. Conversations shut down quickly, small disagreements turn into bigger blowups, or an old hurt keeps resurfacing no matter how hard they try to move past it. Some carry the heaviness of broken trust, while others feel more like roommates than partners. Most aren’t looking for perfection—they know that’s not realistic. What they do want is to understand why things keep slipping, feel heard again, and know whether their relationship still has room to heal and grow. They want to feel like a team again, not two people trying to manage everything alone.

I have helped many couples recover successfully from infidelity.
Many people assume that unfaithfulness means the end of a marriage, but I have seen that when a couple will work through these issues, their marriage ends up stronger than it was before. It is not easy, but it is worth it in the end.

We work with couples recovering from infidelity, disconnection, resentment, ambivalence about divorce, sex and intimacy and fighting over the same thing with zero resolution.
Our approach is based on the research of renowned psychologists John Gottman and Brent Atkinson. Their findings on what makes relationships succeed or fail informs our approach along with crucial findings in attachment theory (EFT) and personality type. We begin with individual assessments followed by a structured plan for improving communication.

Ever said this to yourself or your spouse/partner? "I promise I'll stop looking at porn", "Going to strip clubs is just part of doing business" or "It was just sex. She meant nothing to me."

How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.
How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.
How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.
How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
