Brainspotting Therapists in Grapevine, TX
I utilize Brainspotting and EMDR which can take 10-15 sessions.
I specialize in providing support for women who have experienced birth trauma, miscarriage and pregnancy loss, infertility, postpartum depression/anxiety, and perinatal mental health challenges. Many times we see an idealized picture of conception, birth, and parenthood and that doesn't quite align to our own reality. You may feel stuck, isolated or even ashamed when your story doesn't look everyone else's. Whether you are considering starting a family or already navigating motherhood, I offer a space for understanding, healing, and hope. Additionally, I work with adults struggling with grief, trauma, anxiety, and burn out.

I integrate movement, creative expression, parts work, attachment-based therapy, and Brainspotting to help you process emotions—not just think about them.

Maybe you’ve done therapy before and understand your patterns, but it hasn’t translated into real change. I specialize in helping people move beyond insight and reconnect with their emotions and body so change can actually stick.

I work with teens, couples, and individuals facing life’s challenges, using CBT to shift unhelpful thinking, DBT to manage emotions, Prepare/Enrich and Gottman to enhance marriages, and Brainspotting for trauma healing.
Life doesn’t look or feel the way you wish it did. Maybe you’re struggling with emotion overload, pain from relationships, or feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward. I am an anxiety and depression, ADHD, family conflict, and life transitions therapist. I help teens and adults face fear of the unknown, hopelessness, or feeling misunderstood. I believe you deserve to feel safe, seen, and in control of your life again—even when that feels out of reach. You don’t have to carry it all alone.

The main modalities I draw from are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), somatic therapies, and Brainspotting.
If you long for a peaceful relationship with food but feel stuck in cycles of restriction, overeating, or constant mental noise around your body, you’re not broken—and you’re not alone. I help adults who are exhausted by food rules, perfectionism, and the pressure to control their bodies find relief through food freedom, body trust, and self-compassion. Together, we work toward a life that feels bigger than your dieting, choatic eating or body image struggles. I also help people break out of OCD cycles they feel stuck in—whether they're related to food or not. And if there's some trauma in the mix... we can work on healing that too.

Are you having trouble regulating your emotions, unable to set your own boundaries or respect other people’s boundaries? Do you find yourself often saying yes when really, you want to say no? Do you expect things to go your way, and fall apart when it doesn’t? Do you find yourself in relationships with the same person but with a different name? It’s a pattern. Your childhood may be the cause of today’s behavior patterns and contribute to emotional dysregulation which could include feeling helpless, frustrated, and trapped.

As an EMDR and Brainspotting Expert, I offer therapeutic intensives (multi-hour sessions) for deep, accelerated processing that talk therapy alone can’t reach.
Welcome! You’re here because you or your partner is hurting. Whether you’re dealing with "Big T" traumas like abuse or "little t" traumas like feeling repeatedly rejected, a part of us gets stuck when the "no-good-dirty-rotten-thing" happens. But you don’t have to stay there. I help you escape the grip of trauma, depression, and complex challenges like Bipolar disorder or navigating narcissism. We hold pain in our bodies as tension—a physical echo of a nervous system that doesn’t feel safe. It no longer has to dictate how you love, parent, or work. I am here to help you move forward into the life you deserve.

I utilize trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches like Brainspotting, Somatic Processing and TFCBT, because I want to get to the why behind what you are feeling, not just manage the symptoms.
I specialize in deep hurts and trauma — and that can look like a lot of things. The way you grew up. A belief you used to hold onto. A relationship with a person or a group that left a mark. A specific moment that hurt you and never quite healed. Here's the truth: the things we find hardest to talk about are usually exactly the things we need to talk about.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.
Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.
How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.
How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
