Counselor CSAT(Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist) candidate, CST(Certified Sex Therapist) candidate- American Board of Christian Sex Therapists, TBRI
There is a pathway to peace. I have specialized CSAT training that offers restoration & recovery for couples in crisis and men/teens in distress affected by sex/porn addiction and/or abuse related issues. At Haven Counseling, you will find confidential therapy allowing you to talk safely about private struggles. I have been in that place and know the way out. Research-based, proven methods will help you or your teenager find hope and recovery. It takes A LOT of courage to ask for help, but making the call or booking the session online can change your life. It has certainly changed mine.

Sexual addiction and infidelity can destabilize every part of life—emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.
I help individuals establish accountability, emotional regulation, and a clear recovery plan, while supporting partners in processing trauma, and strengthening boundaries. When couples desire reconciliation, I guide intentional conversations around disclosure, rebuilding trust, and restoring connection.

Sexual addiction can rob you of your happiness, but regardless of your age, ideology, or ethnicity, sex should never feel empty, joyless, or demoralizing.
If you are struggling to control your unwanted sexual behaviors, despite your best efforts, and it has put significant strain on relationships, family, job, or other areas of your life, I see you. I have walked the road you are on - successfully - and look forward sharing the way through with you. Sexuality is a normal, healthy part of adult life that can increase your emotional intimacy, strengthen your sense of self-image, and act as a buffer to outside stressors. In short, sex matters. But when sexual behaviors become compulsive, destructive, or illegal, it's time to get help.

You’re in the aftermath. Maybe you just discovered your partner’s betrayal - infidelity, porn addiction, emotional secrecy - and everything you thought you could count on feels uncertain. Or maybe you’re the one who broke trust and are now watching the consequences unfold, unsure how to rebuild. Whatever side of the rupture you’re on, I know how overwhelming it can be. As someone who’s walked this path personally and now helps others do the same, I offer a steady, structured space to begin healing without shame or pressure.

I help clients struggling with sexual issues and how those affect their relationships. Pornography use, affairs, emotional affairs, and online affairs can have a devastating effect on our primary relationship. How do you stop the behavior that is doing the damage? How can you repair the damage that has been done? Is the relationship salvageable at all? I can help. If you are not in a primary relationship, I can show you how the above behaviors may be keeping you from the successful intimate relationship that you desire.

Relationships, past and present, are often the source of our greatest joys and heaviest burdens. Whether or not other people participate in counseling, focusing on relationships is an important part of emotional healing. The good news is that we all have the ability to heal within our relationships and within ourselves. As a counselor, I use a family-systems and solution-oriented approach to empower clients to meet goals, improve relationships, and live more balanced and fulfilling lives.

Welcome to 2026!...What aren't you doing that you need to do? What's left on the table? You're not nuts (yet) but you're stuck somewhere between stressed and emotional wreck. But happiness, success, fun & play ARE within reach. You just need to re-find your momentum in life, work, career & relationships. Zero motivation or brain fog holding you back? Your struggle is admirable but it sucks, too. Yet the misery IS optional. Let's start kicking back at life. End the negative thinking, let's learn different/better ways of thinking/behaving to get what you want in life. Surviving 2025 was okay - but 2026 can be so much better... Now.

Sexual Addiction Therapists
When should someone seek treatment for sex addiction?
People should seek treatment for sex addiction if they cannot control their sexual thoughts or behaviours to the point that it disrupts their ability to function in daily life, for example by threatening their finances, career, or relationships. This may include spending an excessive amount of time obsessing over sex, planning sex, watching pornography, or masturbating, as well as consistently engaging in risky sexual activities, using sex to escape distressing feelings, or attempting yet failing to control sexual behavior.

What are the most common treatment options for sex addiction?
Psychotherapy is the most common treatment for sex addiction; therapy helps patients better understand their compulsive thoughts and behaviors and develop strategies to manage their desires. Therapy may be supplemented by medications, such as antidepressants, mood stabilizers, anti-androgens, and the alcohol and substance use medication Naltrexone, as well as support groups, such as 12-step programs.

How long does therapy take for sex addiction?
Recovering from compulsive behavior takes time and effort. There’s no precise timeline for treatment, but research suggests 12 therapy sessions may be enough to see change. Treatment for sexual compulsions requires honesty in therapy, a commitment to understanding triggers and developing coping skills, and potential lifestyle changes such as cutting out alcohol or drugs.

What if sex addiction is left untreated?
Compulsive sexual behavior can have serious repercussions if left unaddressed. For example, if sexual obsessions consume the vast majority of a person’s time, they may lose their job. If they can’t stop paying for sex, their finances may suffer. If they’re dishonest in their relationships, their partner may leave them. If they consistently feel shame, they may struggle with anxiety, depression, or loneliness. Therapy can help people develop the tools to manage sexual thoughts and behaviors that feel uncontrollable.
