I offer in-person and virtual sessions at our office in central Fort Worth.
I specialize in working with individuals that may be feeling uncertain about their life direction. Most common issues addressed include interpersonal conflict due to unhelpful behaviors of their own, damaging coping skills, and redefining how they would like to move through the world ahead. I find great value in the client-therapist relationship and enjoy building a collaborative alliance as we work together to identify the "what" and "why" before moving on to the "how" of addressing them.

I offer in-person counseling in Fort Worth TX and virtual therapy for clients across Texas.
You weren't meant to navigate every season of life alone. Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect, and relationship challenges, unexpected life changes, questions about your identity or faith, or emotional pain can leave you feeling uncertain, disconnected, or unsure of where to turn. I work with teens (12+), young adults, adults, and couples who are looking for a space to slow down, process what they're carrying, and move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

My typical counseling approach, and that of my colleagues at Homestead Hope Counseling, is anchored firmly and unapologetically in the Christian world-view. We do so with a clear, unwavering theistic paradigm that acknowledges God's sovereignty in all things, as He is intimately interested in, and responsive to, each person and all they experience. Therefore, unless otherwise directed by the client, our approach will inherently involve the use of biblical revelation and the principles found therein, when ever appropriate and applicable. The Christ centered world view is paramount to my approach to healing.

We all develop defenses to keep ourselves safe, but over time, those same defenses can become barriers to growth and connection. I see therapy as a place to gently uncover those protective layers—understanding why they were needed—and then learning how to move beyond them toward empowerment, autonomy, and meaningful connection. My role is to walk beside you, exploring the roots of your struggles and helping you build the insight and skills to move forward with confidence and compassion. I want our sessions to be a place where you feel understood, supported, and safe to grow.

At times life provides us with the opportunities that enable us to grow and accomplish. However, at times it also presents itself in the form of a challenge. These life events can take a toll on our mental health and leave us feeling hopeless, unmotivated, lost, and stuck. I am passionate and confident in my ability to make a difference in the life of my clients. Having been through many touch patches myself, I understand well the importance of regaining one's own sense of purpose, strength, and dignity. I have experiences working with both children and adults using individual and family therapy modalities.

I offer both in person at Fort Worth Counseling & Intervention and Telehealth therapy to all clients in Texas, I'm available most weekdays.
I believe counseling & therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I work with people who want to better understand themselves and create change that actually lasts. This looks like exploring patterns in your relationship with substances, food, or your body, or making sense of deeper questions around identity, meaning, and spirituality—including past religious experiences. I bring a mind-body perspective to build awareness and tools that fit you. I’m simply another human sitting with you, offering curiosity and a steady presence.

I offer in person and online therapy for individuals, couples, and families.
Connection should feel like a seat at a table, not a performance. In my practice, I work with individuals and families who feel like they are constantly "white-knuckling" their way through life. Whether you are a high-performing woman exhausted by the weight of "having it all together," or a family navigating the overwhelming complexities of a family trauma, I provide a space to stop surviving and start connecting.

Please feel free to contact me for a free "Get Acquainted" interview or with any questions that you might use to determine if my services are right for you.

You don't have to have it all figured out before starting therapy. Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety, a difficult relationship, a major life transition, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. I work with adults who want to better understand their emotions, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
