I specialize in anxiety, LGBTQ plus issues; women's issues and trauma.
Are you struggling in your relationship? Are you a high-achieving professional trying to balance the demands of work, family, and constant stress? Therapy isn't a sign that something is wrong with you. It's an acknowledgment that the skills and strategies that helped you succeed professionally may not be enough for everything you're carrying personally. Therapy provides a space to slow down, gain perspective, reconnect with yourself, and develop healthier ways to navigate life's challenges. Therapy can help you learn how to be more present and mindful in all you do, while improving your life, work, self, and happiness.

You might look like you’re holding it all together but often feel anxious, resentful, or emotionally drained. You may be caught in overthinking, conflict, or a pattern of putting others’ needs before your own. You want to feel more grounded, confident, and connected, to not just to yourself but also to the people who matter most. Whether you’re navigating relationship stress, burnout, or major life changes, you’re ready to understand yourself better, communicate more clearly, and create space for peace and joy again.

I've been working in mental health for the past 5 years. I'm very passionate about mental health and positive energy. I'd to create a safe space to work on stressors that may be hindering you from feeling your best rather its discord within the family, work stressors, relationships issues, social issues or just day to day struggles. Because lets face it, life be lifing sometimes! If you are ready to do the work and address these issues with therapy stop putting it off, the time is now! Lets work together to find your serenity and feel better mentally and emotionally..

No one should have to go through life's toughest moments alone. I believe that your past does not define you and everyone deserves to heal and feel better. The people I work with usually want something about themselves or their life to be different. Painful and overwhelming experiences tend to impact who they are, how they feel about themselves, and how they relate to others. Healing usually includes caring for wounds, learning lots, and doing things a little differently than before. People feel better about themselves - stronger, more secure, calmer, and more peaceful - as a result of therapy and healing work.

I have been in practice 17 years and have opened my service area thanks to Google Meet & FaceTime. I became a therapist (I have a dual degree in both individual & family therapy) after beginning my own work 25 years ago. I see therapy as a tool & a valuable asset. I believe we can pull from our history & present, the things that work, AND leave behind the things that don’t, so our future can be everything we want. My approach is very adaptive. I see clients as individuals, beautifully different and I will use a variety of approaches to help you meet your goals along the way.

Throughout my journey in organizing, I learned the weight sustained activism and generational trauma can have on individuals and communities throughout their organizing experience in community. Because I recognize the deep need for mental health care in organizing spaces, I've committed to the path of being a counselor—dedicating myself to collective healing and liberation.

It is tough to be a kid, teen, or family in today's complicated world. Between social pressures, academic stress, and emotional struggles, many are stretched thin. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, former teacher, and mom of five, I understand these challenges on both a professional and personal level. My approach focuses on building strong relationships with children and teens and collaborating with their families. I believe this partnership is the key to helping clients ages 5 to 17 grow and thrive. I provide a supportive space for healing and equip parents with practical tools to reinforce progress at home and in school.

You deserve a space where your full self — teen or young adult, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, disabled, or navigating financial hardship — isn’t just accepted, it’s understood.
Together, we explore your emotional world, identify relational patterns, and develop tools to build more compassionate, connected, & resilient relationships — with others & yourself. Therapy with me is collaborative, trauma-informed, emotion-focused, culturally aware, & informed by my lived experience as a disabled, queer, neurodivergent “wounded healer.”

Do you hide parts of yourself that make others feel uncomfortable? Do you carry the shame of being judged for your sexuality, addiction, HIV status, or more? These are some of the hardest things to talk about but it’s even harder going through it alone. You deserve a space where you don't have to translate your experience or defend your truth—where someone actually understands what you're going through. If you have never felt safe, accepted, or understood, I feel your pain, because I have been there.

Do you find that anxiety, relationship conflict, or chronic stress are hard to overcome? Do you notice any patterns? Do the same arguments repeat? What do you notice as distance grows in your relationships? You may be managing neurodivergence, a chronic health condition, or the weight of complex family dynamics. You are curious about where these patterns come from and are ready to honestly examine your role in them. You are looking for a therapist who can understand your full context. I work with marginalized populations (i.e., LGBTQAI2S+ or Latine/a/o) and Monolingual Spanish-Speaking (Terapia Bilingue).

LGBTQ+ Therapists
Do LGBTQ-affirmative therapists receive special training?
Yes. Many therapists who practice LGBTQ-affirmative therapy have completed specialized training, either during their degree program or as continuing education, to learn the core principles of affirmative therapy and how to best support their LGBTQ clients; some have received certifications in LGBTQ-affirmative therapy. Prospective clients should inquire as to a clinician’s background and training to ensure a good fit.

Why might I want to see an LGBTQ-affirming or LGBTQ-friendly therapist?
Queer and gender-non-conforming individuals frequently experience bias and marginalization in day-to-day life. Working with a therapist who understands these unique challenges, as well as accepts and affirms their identity, can help LGBTQ clients feel safe and supported during therapy—allowing them to better navigate their relationships, mental health, and anything else that they wish to explore during therapy. It is important to note that many therapists can be effective in their work with LGBTQ+ individuals, even in the absence of specific training or background knowledge. The most important component in therapy is the alliance between therapist and client, and this alliance can exist between individuals with very different backgrounds.

How can I find an LGBTQ-friendly therapist?
You may wish to inquire about a therapist’s expertise with your specific challenges or concerns—depression, for example, or relationship strife—as well as their past experiences treating LGBTQ+ clients. Prospective clients may also ask whether a therapist has obtained additional training and/or certification in LGBTQ-affirmative techniques.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience with LGBTQ issues?
Prospective clients should feel empowered to directly ask therapists whether they have received training or been certified in LGBTQ-affirming therapy; competent therapists will be happy to explain their educational background and preferred approach(es) to help a client find the best match for them. Clients may also wish to ask how a therapist has treated clients with their particular challenges in the past and what they expect treatment to look like.

Are all the therapists listed in the LGBTQ directory themselves members of the LGBTQ community?
While therapists may choose to disclose their sexual orientation or gender identity in their profiles, the LGBTQ directory features not only those who have shared this information but also those who assert specialized training or experience in providing support to queer individuals, couples or families.
