I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Art Therapist, and EMDR practitioner. I work with adolescents, young adults and women of all ages. I am passionate, both personally and professionally, about loving oneself, ADHD, creative expression, identity work, mindfulness, perfectionism, and diversity and inclusivity work.

I have ten years of experience working in a residential care setting where I provided relational and emotional regulation and processing to adolescents and their families. I am skilled at offering insight that assists the family or individual in processing difficult situations.

I have experience with clients of all ages, from littles to the more-seasoned. I have worked with interpersonal violence survivors, borderline personality disorder, LGBTQ+ populations, empty-nesters, neurodivergent folk, and those experiencing faith deconstruction or spiritual abuse. I am known for helping parents reduce conflicts with their sons, in particular, and have an emphasis on making parenting boys much more enjoyable and effective. I also have extensive experience in helping couples become more understandable to one another, and in providing them with relationship skills which enable both individuals to have their needs met.

For the last 30 years I've been privileged to work with courageous clients as they face traumatic life events, stand up to addictions, grieve betrayals and losses, and find freedom to live a more enjoyable confident life. I have a lot of respect for anyone willing to enter into a counseling process with a commitment to growth and change. The counseling process takes a lot of work and determination but I have seen long lasting results as clients have faced uncomfortable feelings and beliefs and literally rewired their brains! I can't imagine a more rewarding job.
