For the past 15 years, I have worked with children, youth, and families in a variety of settings. Most recently, my primary focus has been helping parents of young children strengthen their parenting skills, develop healthy coping mechanisms, model self-care, and break the cycle of multi-generational trauma.

Through a positive relationship with my client I try to help them gain insight into their desire to belong and have significance. I continually work to create a supportive environment for children in order for the child to gain insight and understanding into their unique world. With insight the child and therapist can collaborate to reduce the child's current stressors possibly leading to problematic behaviors.

I truly enjoy working with my clients on the variety of life's ups and downs. Generally, most of my work is with adults; however, I also see adolescents beginning at 16-years-old. Over the years, I have worked with depression, anxiety, trauma, and some of the more severe mental health problems. My other experience includes working with self-harm and suicidal behaviors, as well as behavior management.

You are not your diagnosis. I focus on wholistic treatment while providing individual and family therapy in order to understand the various aspects of your mental health. My goal is to help you understand your symptoms, and help you navigate through the obstacles that may arise to return your focus to living life. We will focus on your strengths, and how to use the coping skills I will teach you to resolve any conflict.
