Jan Venable, M.Ed., LPC-S is a psychotherapist and counselor with over 25 years of experience. She works with both adolescents and adults. She specializes in working with people in recovery who want to improve their relationships. This includes healing trauma, anxiety, and codependency. She believes one of the most vital elements of mental health is developing our physical health and practicing good nutrition. She advocates for treating the whole person rather than just isolated symptoms. Jan has extensive experience with adolescents. She finds treating teens with respect and compassion opens many doors.

I am passionate about helping to empower people to become who they were created to be. I love working with women who are navigating difficult relationships both at home and at work, assisting them to achieve greater levels of confidence and life satisfaction. I am trained in several kinds of trauma treatments and am inspired by the courage and determination I see as people gain healing, putting their past in the past. I also have many years of experience supporting individuals who are either clergy families of clergy members.
