My name is Gina Cardines and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas for 4 years. With a total of over 20 years overall experience in the mental health field and several years as a licensed therapist, I have experience in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and PTSD. I also have experience working with survivors of Intimate Partner Violence, human trafficking, and other traumas, including survivors of child abuse, First Responders, and active and retired military personnel.

I have worked in a variety of settings including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, in-home, career and collegiate. I have the most experience working with anxiety, family/relationship conflicts, life transitions, and complex trauma/abuse. I also have experience working with depression, sexuality and self-esteem issues.

I am passionate about normalizing and de-stigmatizing mental health treatment for all ages and ethnicities. I believe in the importance of providing clients with a judgment-free and honest space throughout their therapeutic journey. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University. I completed internships in a variety of settings, including rape crisis center, university, shelter and foster care agency.

I have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, and I am eager to work with all clients wishing to grow, particularly in their relationships. I focus on all of the things that come together to make people who they are and utilize relational cultural theory (RCT). This means work with me tends to be more personal, as a means to help you grow in relationships. During trying times, I help individuals manage loneliness, grief, anxiety, depression, and other personal issues. In supervision of LPC Associates I utilize RCT and systems theories or others to meet the needs of their work. I teach doctoral and master’s students.

Hi, I’m Eric. Depression and life’s stress can leave us feeling overwhelmed, hopeless and scared. Someone who cares about doing their best for their loved ones and tuning in to their needs can still find themselves feeling sad, overwhelmed or worn out. Sometimes, we work so hard trying to do the right thing we can almost forget who we are or why we are doing all this. If you are here, that is a sign you are open to make a change. My clients often come to me looking for hope and to learn skills to deal with the stresses of life. I take a positive and practical approach to problems, providing support and guidance to help my clients navigate challenging life circumstances. My clients typically present with ADHD, anxiety, and depression, but I see clients with a wide range of symptoms encountered at all stages of life. Together we will determine what you want to work on and come up with a plan to get you started on your journey towards feeling better.

Clients I see are usually struggling with couple/relationship problems, parenting difficulty, blended family issues, anger, anxiety, adjusting to difficult life issues, and depression. Most clients are not enjoying life and want help making some changes and finding their way through pain, circumstances, and difficulty. About half of my client's are looking for a therapist who can identify with a Christian/Biblical perspective as well. I am currently only offering Teletherapy.
