Do you feel like you're going crazy? That you just cannot do anything right? Do you feel stuck but want to leave? Are you being: belittled, criticized, stalked, harassed, accused of cheating, or threatened? Or maybe, you are the one feeling insecure in the relationship and are doing these things. Relationships can be hard and confusing so I am here to help with guidance. This is individual counseling. I do not provide couples counseling due to the toxic nature of abuse . I want the person to feel safe coming to me and sometimes, people can hold back or feel unsafe due to a partner's actions.

I have worked in various levels of care and have experience working with Complex PTSD, SRA/Spiritual Abuse , Gender/Sexuality Issues, interpersonal violence , and substance/process addictions.
Traditional talk therapy doesn't always give us the results we want, especially when working with trauma. I work best with clients who prefer a direct approach and have been trying to heal from trauma for a prolonged period of time without a lot of results. I found that spirituality is an important part of the trauma healing process. To me, spirituality looks like connecting with nature and the earth and expands beyond the traditional perspectives. Trauma often comes with addictions and I do not take the abstinence-only perspective on addiction and tend to emphasize harm reduction as an alternative.

I specialize in severe abuse , sexual abuse , relationship & family issues, couple’s therapy, PTSD, ADHD & Anxiety.
CORONA VIRUS UPDATE: 1st, These are hard, stressful times! I’m sooo sorry we’re all going through this. I am seeing clients in person & via teletherapy. Unfortunately I do not take insurance but I’ve lowered my rate to $85 an hour to try and make therapy as affordable as possible. I’ve been in practice 15 years and have opened my service area thanks to Google Duo & Facetime. I became a therapist after doing my own work over 2 decades ago and yes, I still do my own work with a therapist. It wasn’t easy but it was definitely the best thing I’ve ever done for myself, my family & my friends. I hope I can help you.

In this world there is indeed trouble, darkness, violence , and loss. Looking for the light and meaning in it all can seem hopeless. When you feel that you have lost your way or true self altogether trying to fight it alone, I am here to help you seek the truth and be transformed by the renewal of your mind. It is my desire to help clients identify the messages they believe, often subconsciously, beneath the rhythms of daily life. These messages are often memory-informed and can interrupt our relationships, thought process, bodies, daily functioning, and self perception.

I specialize in adults and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, abuse , self-esteem, relationship, and anger issues.
In today's fast-paced society, it is hard to feel heard. Life can be tough and struggles are challenging to overcome alone. My top priority is to provide you with a safe space to find hope and relief. I believe clients play an expert role in their life. My job is to listen and make observations that will help you gain perspective. I value the combined effort between client and counselor. Together we will explore how you see the world and construct a treatment plan based on your specific goals. My approaches to counseling include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered and solution focused therapy.

Life is difficult. There are so many things happening in the world right now. It can be hard to find someone who is free of burdens and turmoil in their own lives to talk to. Then there are those more specific things we may be dealing with that we cannot share with family or friends just yet. Counseling is a safe place to process and heal from most situations you may be facing right now whether it's relationship problems, job stress, time management or something more traumatic like domestic violence or a child who has experienced abuse . This is an opportunity to figure out how to start the healing process.

Keith has worked with clients who have experienced complex trauma through domestic violence and sexual assault.
Keith’s primary area of focus is Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). However, he also has experience working with teens and adults, and has received training to work with groups and families. Keith finds Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) to be a particularly fulfilling way of working within the family system. During the pandemic Keith gained training and experience working through multiple Tele-health platforms. He also has experience using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), but he primarily views counseling through a holistic Person-Centered perspective.

Domestic Abuse Therapists
Domestic abuse can be physical or psychological, and it can affect anyone of any age, gender, race, or sexual orientation. It may include behaviors meant to scare, physically harm, or control a partner. And while every relationship is different, domestic abuse and violence typically involves an unequal power dynamic in which one partner tries to assert control over the other in a variety of ways.
