My practice is almost entirely forensic, i.e. court/litigation related, civil and criminal. My main specialty is evaluating and treating individuals accused of sexual abuse or sexual offenses, child abuse, domestic violence. Some allegations are false, others are true. I find it very rewarding to turn around false allegations. My secondary specialty is consulting on child custody evaluations, or performing them if a private custody evaluation or social study is needed. I also provide domestic violence evaluations and counseling for family, immigration, CPS and criminal cases.

Neuropsychological evaluations can be helpful at any age. If you are struggling with your thinking abilities (attention, memory, or executive functioning), you may benefit from diagnostic clarity (is it ADHD? do I have dementia?). Testing can identify a pattern of cognitive strengths and weaknesses and help guide in treatment planning.

Testing can be a wonderful starting point for treatment, as it can help clarify diagnoses and pinpoint treatment goals for the purpose of psychotherapy. I am a board-certified Neuropsychologist through the American Board of Professional Psychology specializing in Psychological and Neuropsychological testing . I was the Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist on active duty in Department of Defense until retirement after 26 years total military service. As a retired U. S. Army Major, I administer Psychological testing for PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury. I administer testing for Dementia, Alzheimer’s, ADHD/ADD, Autism, Depression, Anxiety and other Psychological and Neuropsychological Disorders.

I have specialized in the evaluation and treatment of patients with chemical / environmental sensitivity and/or who have been exposed to neurotoxic substances for more than 30 years. I conduct neuropsychological evaluations for litigation and/or disability issues (private or Social Security disability). I also evaluate patients with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, MS and chronic pain. I had a psychology practice in Austin for 20 years, relocating to Albuquerque in 2012. As an outgrowth of my continuing work with clients from Texas, I have developed a specialty in providing internet therapy. Natalie Friedrich, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas. Dr. Friedrich has received extensive training in psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational testing and evaluations for individuals of all ages: 20 months – adult. She also received official training in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd Edition (ADOS-2) and specializes in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. I've worked in research settings studying the effects of domestic violence on children and evaluating the effectiveness of Systems of Care for children with severe emotional / behavioral disturbances. Many of these occur with ADD/ADHD, dyslexia or Asperger's/Autism. We only treat adults 18yrs - 64yrs . We specialize in administering the tests and writing the reports required to authorize accommodations for college and exams.
