Waitlist for new clients
I work with adults and couples whose presenting concerns are most often related to anxiety, depression, grief, spirituality, religion, sexuality, attachment wounds, major transitions, and relationships.
Research indicates the quality of the relationship between the client and the therapist is the most significant predictor of successful outcomes in therapy. Accordingly, I prioritize attending to our alliance as I draw from the evidence-based modalities listed above.

Do you feel like you’re navigating life transitions alone? Are you struggling to adjust to certain situations and unsure of how to move forward? No one should have to face difficult times by themselves. Seeking support in a safe, non-judgmental space can make all the difference. Here, you won’t experience negativity or criticism—only validation, understanding, and encouragement. You deserve to be heard and supported as you process your experiences and emotions. I take a holistic approach to therapy, integrating strength-based, and mindfulness-based perspectives with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Intimacy is often impeded by an inability to know your self or to see yourself accurately. Often we loose that sense of self in relationships which then promotes agitation and depression. We then take on addictive behaviors to avoid feeling reality. Difficulties in childhood often does not equip us with the skills of boundaries which is the only thing that helps to maintain a sense of who we are while remaining connected in a relationship. I can help you develop the skills of being relational and still be you.

You’re the one people describe as “having it all together”. You are capable, reliable & thoughtful. You likely get things done, are the emotional anchor in your relationships, and rarely “fall apart”. You may be someone who understands your patterns intellectually and has learned how to stay composed, independent, and emotionally contained. You often attune to the needs of people around you, can read the room effortlessly, anticipate what others feel, and carry more than your share. You likely handle responsibility with ease, follow through on what you say you’ll do, and rarely allow yourself to share your needs.

Do you feel stuck in familiar emotional or relational patterns? Overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or carrying a sense that something inside you isn’t fully settling? Maybe you feel anxious, disconnected, have chronic aches, or exhausted from trying to “figure yourself out” without lasting change. Many clients come to me when traditional talk therapy hasn’t been enough & they’re ready to include the body in healing. Therapy can be a place to soften, breathe, and come home to yourself again. Together, we slow down, listen to your nervous system, and gently shift patterns from the inside out so real, embodied change can begin.

The purpose of therapy is to grow as a person and through the growth process affect changes in one’s life and relationships. As a therapist, I see my role as short term in nature, walking with people through sometimes very difficult chapters in their lives. Individual results in therapy vary, for in the final analysis the client decides their level of commitment to change and personal growth. However, the decision to begin the process of therapy is a courageous commitment to take the first step on the journey of self-discovery and growth.

What if the reason you’re still struggling isn’t a lack of insight, but that the same patterns keep living beneath what you understand? You’ve tried therapy before. You know the language. Yet the same inner dialogue, the same emotional loops, the same situations keep returning in new forms. You’re capable, you’ve “done the work,” and you’re deeply self-aware, but something hasn’t shifted. Not because you’re doing it wrong, but because what needs healing lives beyond words. This is the work of being witnessed at the level where change finally becomes embodied, not just understood.

I love working with individuals, couples and families who are interested in exploring their dreams, their imaginations, their relationships, and often their unknown inner strengths in order to uncover what truly makes them come alive. Exploring the mysteries of our own psychological and spiritual depths can often lead us into painful and challenging places, but as Carl G Jung noted, the inner caves and shadows where we sometimes fear to go are often the places that also hold our greatest treasures and the keys to unlock the lives we are meant to live.

You’re juggling a million things—kids, work, life—and somewhere in there, you’re trying to do the inner work. You’ve faced losses, big or small, or maybe just feel the weight of old wounds that never quite left. You want to show up fully for your family, for yourself, and maybe even for the parts of life that feel joyful again—but doing that while keeping all the balls in the air? Exhausting. And honestly, you don’t have to do it alone.

Spirituality Therapists
What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?
Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.

What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?
There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviors. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.

Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?
Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.

How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?
Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
