My work often includes supporting clients in rebuilding trust after disconnection, exploring kink, or finding confidence in pleasure and sexuality.
Wanting deeper intimacy, a stronger sexual connection, or better communication with your partner is common—but figuring out how to get there can feel complicated. Many of us long for closeness yet fear what might happen if we’re truly seen. What if I give up too much of myself? What if I get hurt again?

I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist in my late 30's.
When did you learn conflict resolution while you were growing up? And, from who? These questions are often met with laughter from clients as they quickly reply, "I didn't!" How can we expect to utilize skills that we've never learned? We don't inherently know how to have healthy relationships with partners and/or ourselves. Give you and your partner (or potential partners) a break. You don’t have to keep ignoring the obvious signs of distress. We all need help sometimes.

My therapeutic practice is social justice-oriented, sex-positive, and kink-allied.
As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, my passion is to create a space for queer and neurodivergent immigrants to feel seen and accepted. It is not uncommon for first, second and third culture folks to have experienced therapy that didn’t make space for their cultural identity and sometimes even required them to conform to an individualistic social culture; when the truth is, you don’t have to. You don’t have to suppress or hide any parts of yourself to show up in the world, and you definitely don’t have to do that in this therapeutic space.

I'm licensed in TX and hold additional certification as a Sex Addiction Therapist.
Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck—carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, trauma, or patterns in relationships that keep repeating. They feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to shift old habits. Most understand what’s happening, but insight alone hasn’t created the change they want. They’re looking for clarity, stability, and a way to feel more grounded and themselves again.

Whether you are here to improve relationship concerns, address compulsive sexual behavior, seek help for infidelity or betrayal, or improve intimacy and sex, we can work together to get you to the place you’d like to be.
Helping you understand yourself and/or your relationship is my favorite part of therapy. I take an investigative approach to my sessions. I prefer to understand the root cause of behaviors so that it can be treated rather than just addressing the symptoms. Together we can help you get to a different place.

Using a blend of Emotionally Focused Therapy to identify the core pattern and restore emotional safety, Relational Life Therapy to uncover the childhood wounds driving the pain, and Sex Therapy techniques to restore intimacy, I meet couples exactly where they’re at, minus the shame.
You and your partner promised to be each other's safe space but communication feels much more like a war zone these days. You can't exactly pinpoint when you stopped feeling like you could be vulnerable or when trust started to feel foreign, but you do know you want out of the cycle of hurt, blame, and loneliness you both feel when you try to come together. Maybe your communication/attachment styles feel opposite and you're not sure how to reach the other person when they get triggered so fast. Or maybe one or both of you has past trauma that you try to contain but is overwhelming your relationship like a tidal wave you can't stop.

Sex Therapy Therapists
Who is sex therapy for?
Sex problems are common in relationships. Many people want a better sex life and want to feel loved and desired by their partner. It is difficult for couples to resolve sexual problems on their own because people often feel ashamed to talk about their sexual desires fearing they are not normal, when in fact a very broad range of preferences and behaviors are normal. A sex therapist can help clarify this and other matters.
Why do people need sex therapy?
Many people do not know how to talk about their erotic needs or their emotional needs, both of which are addressed in sex therapy. Couples often live with sexual difficulties for years before seeking help, and in that time, partners may experience so much disappointment and alienation that they may fear their problems mean they are incompatible. Once people experience disappointment, it is difficult to find resolution without help.
What happens in sex therapy?
People have many misconceptions about what takes place in sex therapy. First, it is a form of talk therapy in which partners discuss their sexual concerns; it does not involve touching or physical exploration of any kind. Sex therapy typically helps couples get comfortable talking to each other about sex so that, in the privacy of their home life, they can openly discuss their sexual desires and make decisions about what they want to do. Couples are typically assigned activities to do at home that build intimacy skills.
What kinds of problems do sex therapists treat?
Very often, partners differ in their degree of sexual desire and struggle over how often to have sex. Or they may have fights about porn use or have difficulty connecting sexually after one partner is unfaithful. Men may have problems with premature ejaculation. Women may find themselves struggling to become aroused or to achieve an orgasm. Sometimes partners feel like they have lost the sense of attraction to their partner. These are all common issues dealt with in sex therapy.
