I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. When you give yourself the gift of therapy, you give yourself the best chance at a fulfilling life. I work with adults of all ages who find themselves struggling with depression, anxiety, anger management, trauma, relationship conflicts, grief, as well as a plethora of other curve balls life will throw at someone at any given time. I help my clients connect the dots between what they are going through now and how it came to be through psychoanalysis then targeting what actions they need to take in the present moment to empower them with agency to manage their current reality.

Trauma hurts. It can be sudden, life-altering and overwhelming, or chronic, subtle and nearly unnoticeable, but either way it can change the way we think about others, the world, and unfortunately, ourselves. Dealing with the aftermath—changes in our relationships, lashing out toward self or others, feeling nothing and/or everything all at once—is sometimes as hard as the initial event, especially when society, friends and family and our own minds tell us to “just get over it.” Worse, sometimes we aren’t even sure where the trauma came from in the first place, leaving us confused and even feeling hopeless.

I specialize in relational work, with an emphasis in affair recovery. I create a supportive space where both partners can feel heard while also helping them address the patterns that keep them stuck. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, I help couples understand the deeper emotions and needs that drive conflict, disconnection, and communication difficulties. Together, we identify negative relationship cycles, explore the underlying emotions beneath conflict, and develop new ways of responding to one another.

Are the daily pressures weighing you down, leaving you discouraged, exhausted or hopeless? Maybe you are fighting to control your racing thoughts & restless energy.
