Our families are the most valuable assets that we have to invest within ourselves. There are many times that our family system becomes disrupted as a result of alcoholism, substance abuse or other traumatic events that leads to a dysfunction. You are not in this alone, our services and approaches are unique since they combine a holistic therapeutic approach to addressing these issues within our relational systems. We might not get back to normal since problems existed but we can become better and that is the ultimate goal of our approach. A new relational family system without systemic problems.

I began my career working with at risk teens who struggled with substance use and had behavioral concerns as well as children and teens in foster care who experienced trauma and other mental health concerns. I work with children and teens with a variety of needs and goals. I have experience working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma histories, self confidence difficulties, ADHD, body image concerns, lack of motivation, family conflict, and other concerns. I find that most children and teens I work with want to thrive and have better relationships and to feel confident in their abilities to be resilient.

Making the decision to see a counselor is not always easy. You may be carrying wounds that you would rather keep buried. These wounds can be barriers that keep you from developing worthiness and living a full, satisfying life. Together we will develop effective tools and strategies to help you move through these barriers and cultivate worthiness. I have extensive training in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, and marriage and family issues.
